A viewer mentioned this build to me for venting plasma, but I decided to use it on the rate of fire version instead since Chaos needs the extra charge speed imo.
@@phucletran2860 I tried venting, but with how often you're stuck dodging ranged attacks, the increased charge speed for contested health regen was far more important in my experience.
Fire rate version is great, but it kind of feels like the cHP recovery potential is just too great to give up on. I wish the variant system in the future would be more depthful. For example, make a version fully automatic but can no longer charge, or a version that has a bigger splash range similar to the heavy incinerator... The whole ammo or damage or accuracy system is just lame.
They should start adding new weapons. Like the plasma spear. An axe, and let bulwarks choose if they wanna dual wield swords. The gaunts have dual swords, so the animation is already somewhere there. The chaos marine elite dual wielding blades and have the spin move. And they should add tripwire mines. Like you can set it to a wall and make a like to the other point. Would be awesome in tight spaces when you dont wanna be ambushed from behind. Bouncing betty mines. With a 360 vertical angle blast at lets say 30 degrees up and down. Damage is lower the furter the targets are from the detonation area

oh is charge speed affected by fire rate? I always assumed it was only for un-charged shots.
@@nathancawley8759 yup. Fire rate affects your charge shot charge rate. Bigger fire rate, faster the plasma charge.
Considering how aggressive, and annoying those marines, it is understandable.

I like the plasma weapons and meltas for chaos. Anything that staggers them is pure kryptonite to them
