There is a lawn mower in the game, it's in the graphics settings called foliage quality. Turn it to low. Pvp players do it so that they can see opponents more easily so I don't see why you can't do it to see your crafting materials.
I suppose that's true. But I like the foliage quality! I just want to be able to clear brush better. I wish that when you build a foundation, that would clear the brush underneath it, especially if you upgrade it beyond twig or wood. Seeing a fern from the ground clipping through a solid concrete foundation or even just a solid wood floor breaks immersion just a wee bit.
@FlailyMcFlailerson I agree, it drives me potty. It would be nice to have an option to stop trees regrowing in your flag area also! Obviously they would regrow if your flag is removed.
That is true. We recently had that happen where somebody's truck got completely stripped. After that, we set it so that player locks can't be picked, as the server rules state that folks need to respect player locks. Clearly somebody didn't follow that rule, so we had to make it impossible to break the rule.

Even on a PVE server. It's best to still secure your stuff. Thieves are opportunists.
