Simply caused an officer safety issue. Thats like someone getting out of a car after pulling to the shoulder without first allowing the officer to make contact.
Yeah, and having him step out was the right move forsure, don’t think they needed to use force to achieve that though. They were at 100% from the start
This is not good police work. Hindsight is 20/20 but play this video for the SCOTUS and all nine justices will agree with me.
Yeah they really should have been more patient. They were on full throttle the whole time. I agree with having him step out and having him sit on the curb but I don’t think they had to use force to achieve either of those
Restraint is a very important part of 2024 police work. You have to pick your battles.

No policy broken. No laws broken by officers. Its a safety issue for the officers. We can have the conversation later as to why we put handcuffs on you. Why we ripped you out of the car. Why we felt as though it was unsafe when you rolled up tinted windows disregarding a direct lawful order.
The conversation we cant have is when I have to tell your mother that you were shot on a traffic stop because you were afraid of offending someone or being seen as "racist" by the media.
Once you decide to use reasonable force...USE IT. dont ease into it. Dont pussyfoot. Go.
This is an entitled athlete who feels above the law.
If you apply what you said in a general context then yeah, great advice. But when applied to this situation, nah. Dude was on 10 from the start because hill started getting defensive about the tapping on the window. Someone being a dickhead isn’t a reason to use force on them and it’s never an option for police to be rude back. Yeah, sometimes we gotta yell and scream at people, but these dudes got their ego hurt and acted on emotion. Not good
