I’ve only done istikhara for one instance in my life. I did the prayer and everything went smoothly.
Allah’s Will was in line with the thing that I wanted. But I’m wonder what happens if the thing I had in mind was not good.

If the thing you had in mind wasn’t good then Allah would’ve prevented you from attaining it.

I’m not as learned but I think that’s doesn’t fit right brother cause you need to be a Muslim in the first place for you to do this. And you need to understand why I’m saying that you need to be Muslim to do that and it’s because if you believe in Allah and the prophet (pbuh) to be the messenger of Allah then that makes you a Muslim and you’ve come under Islam and so you also believe in this concept of Istikhara and can perform it. But then what you said doesn’t make much sense to me since (speaking from your shoes as a nonbeliever) why would you do something that comes from Islam without believing in Islam in the first place. Or maybe you’ve already come to believe in it in a way. I’m probably not the best person to explain it to you but I would suggest you seek guidance from someone knowledgeable. Maybe book a session with Sheik Assim Al Hakeem. And may Allah guide you and you accept the path of truth InshaAllah…

I want to do istikhara because we want more children and we've been trying for more than 10yrs now and Allah will show me if it's good for me or not good.
sometimes 1 is good for you, sometimes 10 or 20 or even 100. but sometimes none, for Allah knows what’s best for you. If you want it keep asking for it, but if you don’t in the end of the day, It’s okay, for we plan but Allah plans better. So we should always be grateful for what He has chosen for us. JajakAllahu Khairan.

If a person has to choose between doing two things, he can pray Istikhara so that he can get guidance from Allah (swt) to do the one that is better for him. But what if he doesn't even know what to do? What if he doesn't even know his options? How should he seek guidance then?
You need to choose on what you want to do. Because as a human we must choose anything everytime.
We should make one decision and then pray istikhara so if it is good for us it will happen/we will get it and if it doesn't then that would be better for us.
Then make dua that Allah guides you to what you should do in life, where you should go, what action to take. Things that are good for you will come into your life and then you can start reading istikhara to make choices.
Pray tahajjud, ask Allah for directions and guidance

I have a little question, we pray Istikhara for guidance from Allah WHEN WE ARE ABOUT TO DO IT.can we pray istikhara prayer if we want something to happen like for example you want to marry someone, can we ask Allah that oh Allah pls make it happen if it is good for us..pls answer my question I really need to know
If u want to pray for something to happen there’s another prayer called ‘tahajjud prayer’ and it is when you want something and u want to ask allah to make it good for you. It is prayed in the last third of the night. You can learn more about it from videos on RUclips and InSha’Allah it will help🤍

I have made Istekhaara quite few times (every day, basically) for my future, especially marriage.
Is it permissible or should I make it once and forget about it?
You can do It as many times as you want, until you get a clear answer in which you don't have doubts.

Salat-l-Istikhara is described in the Hadith narration below.
Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah: The Prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam used to teach us the way of doing istikhara (istikhara means to ask Allah to guide one to the right sort of action concerning any job or a deed), in all matters as he taught us the Surats of the Quran. He said, “If anyone of you thinks of doing any job he should offer a two Rakat prayer other than the compulsory ones and say (after the prayer):
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌّ فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ ارْضِنِي بِهِ

Can we read that dua while in phone
No, please write it down on a paper ans have it laying down in front of you and read from it. Phone is distracting and its better not to use it at any point of the prayer.

I dont know arabic where do i insert my dua?
Salam, the dua is stated after your salam at the end of the prayer. If you can’t read Arabic, read the transliteration/translation (no extra dua afterwards is required). Of course, the prophet ﷺ recommended we say the the dua in Arabic, but reciting a translation is fine and accepted until you learn it in Arabic. May Allah bless you and increase you in knowledge.
