You will never grow a banana from the bananas you buy in the store. Actual banana seeds are about the size of a pea. If you have a banana tree it will put out a sucker you can plant that and grow another banana tree but you cannot plant a banana and get a banana tree!
@@patriciaharris7172 this video clearly proves you can plant half the banana and poke a sucker in it, this is a real thing in Asia they feed full salads as compost because it is cheaper to get nutrients into the soil in this manner because of peasants growing cheap veggies to sell locally. if you are planting suckers in store bought bananas you are just being cavalier with your finances. There is no way to confirm nor deny the legitimacy of this video, they do not suggest it is possible to grow a banana plant from a seedless banana and they most definitely do not claim to grow a banana from a store bought banana. Used dirty pots and MacGyvering humidity domes are normal practices in outdoor gardening and peasants use a lot of pseudo science to simulate natural conditions so covering the banana is not as stupid as it seems, even that ghetto soil looks like it really needs a banana to be decomposing under a humidity dome before you stick a sucker in it. Not showing the moment you stick the sucker into the banana is questionable but can be explained by the fact that the creator of the video is a uneducated peasant that does not understand the need to show this part because they all know you can't grow a banana plant from a full seedless banana let alone a half one. if you plant a sucker in poorly fertilized soil it will just die stick a banana in there under a humidity dome and it will work. If you use third world country techniques to save money on nutrients for your soil you will quickly realize that you are turning your garden into a organic garbage dump and it will smell just like it. There are a lot of Asian gardening channels posting these types of video's and they are doing it because they are offended by the western gardening communities lesser intelligent members effected by the dunning Kruger effect. instead of directly confronting them they use sneaky pranks that only work on the types of people that are offending them for thinking they know everything about gardening with only some basic knowledge of gardening. The strawberry peel planting with al kinds of weird additives is another one of these pranks it works but it is stupid a know it all gardener does not know why and will expose him or herself as a poser within the gardening community pretending to know these techniques utterly humiliating themselves as the fantasists they are, innocent gullible dumbo's will not pretend to know things they don't and wont be effected beyond wasting 30 days caring for a rotting banana. You did not even try it and just used it in a discussion as if it was possible because you saw it in a video and thought you could use it to pose on some experienced gardeners 🤣
It depends, if you're in the States chances are u used a Cavendish banana, which are all clones in a repeated process that renders the seeds nearly non existent which would make it almost impossible to sprout. This person possible used a real banana didn't come from cloned tree
After removing them from the plastic cup with the aloe & placing them in the first pot & covering them with the plastic cups, how often do you water them during the duration of the month before sprouting?
I have gotten stuck on your channel as well as subscribed because I am all about growing fruits and veggies instead of plants and hedges that we can't eat but will this work in Georgia in an indoor and/or outside greenhouse I am thinking you are somewhere in the tropics?

if you seen this try growing Shrimp do the same thing and grow shrimp and store will sell you them can pot them up and in 60 days have all the shrimp you can eat . BTW Tail end goes down and and and if your dog loses his tail plant him a new one after 30 days have a new tail
