- This is a review of the Hydro Bounty from LEGO Ninjago Seabound. This set includes minifigures of all 6 ninja, as well a 2 Wu-bots, a Hydro Whipper, and Prince Kalmaar!

To be honest, it’s probably one of the best Lego sets I’ve ever purchased.

I like how this version of the bounty keeps the thrusters and the sail so it still has some resemblance with the other bounty’s

I like how this wave is good for everyone, the bounty is good for display more than play, and the temple is better to play than display but it still looks good
I plan on getting only the hydro bounty, and the temple of the infinite sea. Plus the two legacy sets because of the mini figures.

The Hydra Bounty canapy reminds me of those big fringes you see in grocery stores.
I don’t think jay needed a sub think, he has his scuba car. Lloyd’s one should’ve been for nya as they branded the hydro mech for him tho

The dark tan Wu hat is also in the Wu's Battle Dragon set.
The light bluish gray thing sticking out on top is called a periscope, a lot of submarines in real life have one.
This sub is so amazing. I love underwater themes, so I might be biased, but everything is good about it: the shape, the details, the available space for the minifigs, the fact that it can contain two mini subs, the detachable bow that can transform into a mech!
Speaking of the bow, I also love the fact that it looks like a face, it's like a figurehead but instead of your regular mermaid, it's a mech! And once it's in its mech form, the fact that the torso is a face is very Gurren Lagann like, an anime that I also really like.
The villain's charriot is also appealing, and finally the wu bots are a callback to Alpha Team's Teevee (there was also a callback to it in Hidden Side)!
It's too bad we don't get a hair piece for all the ninjas though....

Edit: Forgot to mention, I wish the sub came in red rather than in white, because the Bounty is originally red, but also it would have been a nice callback to LEGO Atlantis

I think it’s funny that they put Cole and Kai in the sets for this wave when in the show they don’t go with
You can use stamp pieces to attach them with the flippers, also your meant to put a Wu Bot in the mech and it closes all the way.
That little mech has to be a gurren lagann reference

I didn't even realize you got the other mini subs in this set, now it's even worth more to me to get. It is a gorgeous set, the figures are awesome(though I wish all the ninja in this set came with their hair as Nya's is the hardest to get in normal black). Those Manta Ray designs are so beautiful. Cannot WAIT to get this set!
I already predicted that this set would be my favorite. But with a Bionicle reference, I must have it! And the ninja suit designs are a lot better than I initially thought.

I get why there’s not little pods for jay and nya because jay has the sub speeder and nya is the ocean
this season has to be one of my favorites in my opinion but my 3 fav ninja had the smallest role
To review the figures with flippers you could use the 1x1 modified stud with a little bar on top

I noticed how cool this set was before I got into Ninjago. After watching the show it's from it's kinda funny to see how mistreated all the cool vehicles and mechs are. You definitely don't come away from the show thinking the Hydro Bounty is an amazing ship considering how it spends most of it's screen time.

Theory: the reason only Kai, Lloyd, and Jay are the only ones who have hair pieces because LEGO had a bunch of extras from the season 14 sets (since Kai, Lloyd, and Jay came in the most season 14 sets)
Well, Jays came in 2.
Kais came in 3
Lloyd came in like 3-4 sets
