That was mainly because most of the cast has increased HP, so in theory, while the rest of his attacks will do less damage, Pilebunker will stay the same, probably becoming Slayer's main source for big damage in combos.
@@doomdxd2 He lost his proper reversal as well which is rough but it's definitely not the end of the world. Just glad he wasnt gutted like some people wanted. His changes seem healthy and I'm not gonna complain about his back dash being buffed or the compensation buff pilebunker got
@@zynstein8059 Yeah, I don't want a repeat of what happened to Zato. No character deserves that. People love talking about gutting characters they don't like until it actually happens.
The overall defense value increased (For most of the characters) was a really good change, basically is everything that a lot of people have been asking since the start of the game. I just hope that said change is a noticable one, I'm tired of dying in like 3 losed interactions while I have to win 7 interactions to kill my opponent lol. All the characters have recieved A LOT of changes, specially Ram, she's basically a new character now, but for some reason they left my main Testament almost the same?!?! (Reminder that Test is Low tier btw) Literally the only things they got are the global hp increase and can now activate stain after a grab, like, that's it?! I'm not going to drop them, but I'll probably be playing with my secondaries this patch more than them... I'm not very excited to play a character that only has like one meaningfull change when the rest has like 100...
Why does Millia suck so much... Like she's not even bad but she feels so bad to play sometimes, like you have to work so much harder and take so many risk and sometimes it really feels like the reward just isn't enough.... 3:22
@@twixtwix2915 the thing thats fucked up about millia is that if you upped her damage she would be insanely broken, she has the most mobility, set up, cross up, and combo potential in the entire cast, eclipsing even Chipp who is the one of the biggest Paper Tigers in all of fighting games
true, like dont get me wrong on a technical level i think shes good, and can compete in tournaments, but holy shit does she feel bad sometimes. genuinely abysmal damage and a bunch of technical stuff all for what the opponent can get in their bnb really makes her feel weak
Imo just lower some character's damage and milia would b fine (or increase her guts, or allow better conversions off quick projectile (forgot what it's called)
i love watching gameplay but don't play much so correct me if im wrong but every time i see this character she's always doing the most and the least at the same time.
Coughing slayer vs hydrogen millia
this patch could not come any sooner, hopefully the slayer buffs will be able to contend with top 3 millia prayge
Pile bunker

"Increased Damage."

I'm glad to finally see another MIllia who uses Artemis.
BUFF SLAYER
?
2/10 ragebait
The patch notes have released. What does everyone think of them?
Was expecting at least new specials for S1 chars 😢
p mappa has more recovery, so slayer probably no longer has a safe cancel after 2d. This brings me joy : )

They really need to up her damage

She’s just bad into top tiers rn. The problem in this case is Slayer, not Millia.
Easy Slayer vs Tense Millia

yeah that’s Millia for ya
