To me, the saddest moment in all GTAs is in GTA 4’s mission « that special someone » when Niko finally confronted Darko about his village’s long time friends deaths from being betrayed. What broke me down was Niko’s depressing reaction when Darko revealed to him that he accepted to kill all his friends for 1000$ without hesitation.
Anytime I play the GTA 5 main story, I always go for the 'Deathwish' option at the end since you can keep both Michael and Trevor alive while taking out all the others that have been messing with the trio.
Johnny's death, while tragic, was necessary as part of Trevor's introduction to really set the tone for what a monster Trevor is. For him to take out tough guy Johnny without even a fraction of struggle or remorse really let's you know what to expect from Trevor
rockstar never fails to disapoint i will never forgive R for ending Johnny they ended a whole generation a whole community a whole society when they ended johnny k unforgiveable you dont end johnny you just dont you dont RIP we will never forget or forgive the betrayal of R games
You really read too much into it. Whether it upsets you or not, you don't speak for the majority and using the term Rockstar never fails to disappoint is a terrible quote because if it was true they never would have made all their games and money because always disappointing every player wouldn't make them play a game. Bottom line is the logic behind that quote makes no sense.
They had to end johnny, he did some terrible stuff. Killed a lot of people. R* makes you remember them as angels but in truth they were the devil. Same concept as breaking bad.
Honestly, without Option C, killing Trevor was miles better ending than offing Michael. You were a fool for falling once again to Devin Weston's tomfoolery and words.
Spoiler alert Had to stop playing GTA 4 for a while when I found that Malorie was going to be a single mother because Roman cousin, was going to be a father was shot, Or Kate Nikos boyfriend was shot, leading to a two contemporary adult endings which made me guilty, depressed and felt for the first time I had done more damage than good in a GTA game ending.

I still remember when I first played Vice city. I was in the 6th grade and that Lance Vance betrayal felt so real and personal
Both kate and Roman death were heart breaking
Facts because they both were important to Neko
I couldn't care less about Kate
You don't understand
Kate's death is not entirely depressing
Only Roman's death is more depressing
Because Roman is more important to Niko than kate
Even tho we saw his death in Vice City 1st before we knew his story but Victor Vance's death is sad af too... All for his snake brother Vance

It could be Trevor's death or Michael's death but Trevor's was definitely sad!
But i cried watching playthroughs of Michael dying in gta 5
They did Johnny dirty in gta 5
Agreed

I’ve completed gta v more than 5 times and never chose an ending other than death wish. The other endings just sounds awful.
I ain't never cried over GTA. But that Green Saber moment, i felt bad for CJ.
Love your video and keep up the great work
Niko is unfortunate either way GTA 4 ends 😢
No GTA game to date was really deep and emotional enough to make me cry
When i first played gta 5 campaign i did not like Trevor so i ended him at the end and i didn't feel bad.
Some of hit hard it what makes these games amazing
Lance's betrayal didn't make me cry. It pissed me off. And I am black. So that made me angrier. I'm like why da brotha gots to betray me like dat??!

Actually Roman's death much more depressing than Kate's death

Johnny does kill Jim lol they escape and ray has Niko chase and kill Jim.
Unpopular opinion but Johnny deserved to be unalived.
Anyone remember how he was responsible for Roman's kidnapping?
Ashley was responsible for all the mess with The Lost tbh
Johnny being killed was surprising when in the lost and the damn he was tough now he’s a weak joke.
L
Johnny should have killed Ashley long time ago problem solved
