The headset microphone wasn't all that bad, but it did seem to capture a lot of the higher-pitched harmonics in her voice. It also wouldn't hurt to offset the microphone slightly, so it's out of the exhale path of the mouth and nose. Lifting it up and to the side slightly usually works well. Showing Christen's knuckle technique on the bottom of the foot is very much appreciated, thank you! :)

Well you can disagree all you want. We have at least 8 different LMT in this channel and don't always use bolsters. Draping would make it difficult to see what the therapist is doing. Also depending on modality, culture and location draping practices vary. For example; we have many Thai videos videos which are fully clothed. Other types of massage like Lomilomi are done with almost no covering or completely naked. Also in California, it's popular for people to have massages completely naked with no draping. Anyhoo, we have more than 200 massage videos. Amount of draping varies from video to video and practitioner to practitioner. RUclips is full of hyper-sexual massage video with people that are fully naked, only wearing the thong, etc. We don't do that. I don't feel our channel is disrespectful or degrading. And ultimately, if you don't like our videos, watch something else.

I don't know the answer to your question, specifically. But I will say from my experience with both male and female masseurs, I would prefer a man for two reasons. Usually taller, able to get more power into each stroke. Hands are meatier/beefier, more rounded and not pointy as a woman's. I'm a larger guy with some muscles but a layer of fat over them, and with the boney fingers I don't feel well afterwards. Hurts so bad, not hurts so good like it should.
I really don´t like this type of microphone. They are good for the voice but we completely loose the ambient, that is very important in this videos. We are watching Christen giving a great massage but there is no sound about it besides of her voice.
Great video, but I don't like the way that microphone sounds. I'm not sure what it is, but it's odd and off putting. She has a lovely voice, but that mike does something weird. It's too close to the speaker maybe? Still a great video. Make More.
That microphone was an experiment. I don't quite like the sound that much. We actually recently purchased some high end stereo microphones that attach to a boom which I'll be experimenting with. But yea, we probably won't use that headset microphone on massage video any more.

PsycheTruth given the like/dislike ratio on this video i don't think many people had a problem with the mic. she was able to speak very softly while still being audible which i think many people who watch these videos for relaxation purposes enjoyed.... however it just so happens that it's usually only the people who don't like something about a particular video who often speak up.
