I love to see what you're growing and how your growing it.... I've started growing in containers too! It helps plants get more water and food without other plants around taking it away. Plus... I like having things a little higher off the ground... so I don't have to go down so low.... and, so the bunnies don't hop up and eat it! Thanks for sharing!
I never thought about growing beans in containers before as I usually use my containers for patio tomatoes, pumpkins and watermelons but might give it a grow next season

It was late in the season so I brought it indoors, and we just harvested our first bean! So yummy - my 8yo son was really excited too ❤also, the blossoms were a surprise - that color is absolutely insane

Great video, as always. Can I suggest adding two or three side drain holes 1 to 2 inches from the bottom. Sometimes the water can drain too slowly from bottom holes depending on what the bucket is paced on.

Best Green Bean I’ve ever grown are called “Royal Burgundy”. They grow as a purple colored bean, but when cooked they turn green. Delicious. And no strings.
Thanks! I grew mine in grow bags. I didn't think the squirrel was going to let me keep them, but put cayenne pepper on the soil, and that kept him at bay. They are on the stove right now..

I agree that 'Dragon Tongue' also called 'Dragon Langerie' is a great bean everyone should try, my favorite bush bean. People should know that pole and half runner beans offer much more variety and better eating quality than the bush "green snap beans" they sell in the seed racks.

Sometimes you can get buckets from any store that has a bakery or deli. Just need a good scrub.
