Love this old school trucks on the Track, a FJ40 was one of the first 4wd I ever drove in the Jungles of Costa Rica. What is your favourite old school 4wd?
For me it's still the Land Rover Defender 110. But these Toyotas look good. I love your videos you make me want to get on a plane and come to Australia. We have national parks in the US but so far I've never seen any as clean and well kept as yours down under. Thanks for sharing.
pub meal to support the locals lol don`t lie its cause pub meals in country towns are awesome .. nice to see portland get a mention we are finaly on the map :p
I enjoyed the history sections, as well as the 4wd driving. Gives a special opportunity to learn some history from the other side of the world! As always, the cinematography is spot on:) Good quality work,Stefan.
40 series my first 4wd and it was for work, in Portugal doing safaris to a company called zebra safari! Drove them years all open top never missed a beat fully loaded with 9 people!
Another beauty Stephan. Great footage of the old cruisers. I had a '69 shorty in the early 80s, with a 5 litre Chev and 4 speed box, to replace the 3 speed with no syncro in first! All the rage at the time. Loved the simplicity and toughness of them. Still love the idea of playing with one, just don't want to have to drive it too far! Really enjoyed watching them. Thanks for putting it up. Cheers PP
Hey mate, this is a bit of a long shot, but do you know who the owner of the ute with license plate LM407 is? (3:36 in the video). I just want to know where he got his brush bars, they are perfect. Cheers

In Brazil the old Land Cruiser FJ40 is called Toyota Bandeirante. www.webmotors.com.br/carros/estoque/toyota/bandeirante
A Willys MB. I'd quite like to hear the story of what you were doing in the jungles of Costa Rica..
AllOffroad 4x4 Adventures TV the original Ford Bronco
@@declanmccauley2678 lol that's a story from a different life, unfortunately long before digital cameras or lightweight video

Yes that is a hard one was pondering that as well, I just need a bigger garage
AllOffroad 4x4 Adventures TV Don’t we all. Somehow I ended up with a big house and small garage... next time around I want the opposite.
Honestly it's hard to go past the SWB 40, there's something about them that's just special.

Tire recommendations guys? 225/95/16, 235/85/16?
Chinese miners are such an important part of our history yet so little is said or written about them
Yes I agree big part of Australian mining history and often forgotten
Ok the 105 as a support vehicle fair enough but the Ranger come on that's a joke 🤣 the 40 year old trucks would recover it more then it them lol
lol yes
Titium cutlery 🤣🤣big deal typical. (mines better than yours)
na mate just lightweight, non corrosive and I just like it and still use it on every trip. To be honest I could care less what cutlery someone uses.
