You are the first person that said truth on this sbails farming.I used my bare hands to puck eggs and they hatched 'ot like those that lues it wont hatch. Thanks bro
Thank you sir! With all honesty, it pains me when I see fellow snail farmers not speaking the truth or defrauding innocent people of their hard earned money. God will help us
Pls i see that you are not using leafs as multching for your pens Pls can we leave our snails in the pen Without covering them with mango or banana leaves Thanks
Thank you for your message. The reason why I don’t have mulching materials in the hutches you were referring to is because the humidity in the snailery is bery ok. However, I sometimes add mulching materials when the need is obvious! Thank you
Though I don't have the problem of mass ant invasion in my environment but I have my peculiar control mechanism in place. In fairness to the NATURE, the truth is that naturally, ants and snails can co-exist. This is because nature has made it so. That is why you have ants living in the same envronmwith snails just as we have it in the wild. However, too much ants is what could be dangerous to the snails. What I do periodically is to either open my pen for my local chicken to go in to feed on ants or I sometimes lock my chicken in the snail pen prey on the ant control mechanism.
Thank you for this intelligent question. NO, IT IS NOT TRUE!!! Your snail eggs would still hatch if you touch it with your bare hands. PROVIDED YOU MEET INCUBATION REQUIREMENTS, which are as follows: (1) dig a shallow grave (2) burry the eggs for incubation to take place (3) slightly cover the eggs with soil, sawdust, or mulching materials (4) Make sure that the soil or the material used is always wet (not soaked) (5) continue to periodically wet the place so as to prevent the eggs from getting dry (in order not to lose its potency) (6) closely monitor this exercise for 18 days to 30 days (depending on the conducive environment that you provided for the incubator) while you see your eggs hatched successfully. Touching your snail eggs with bare hands does not reduce the potency of the eggs as long as the eggs do not crack and are not exposed to air… What you saw in this video is my routine on my farm (I USUALLY HARVEST / HAND PICKED MY SNAIL’S EGGS WITH MY BARE HANDS). I’ll encourage you to experiment personally with this process so as to affirm the truth. I have watched and read such comments severally on the internet too by some indisciplined and quack individuals (irrespective of their status, name, or age). I called them quacks because they are unprofessionals; they don’t conduct experiment nor embark on research… They only rely on rumours!!! Remember, your incubator must not be dry and it must not be soaked!!! If it does (either of the two), the eggs would lose it's potency. Thank you!!!

So how do you cope with ant's by pouring feed's on the ground?

I was also told that it will not hatch,if you touch the eggs.
It is not true please!!!
I have debunked that through my experiments and daily practice.
People said, no touch with bear hand. They said the eggs won't hatch. Is that true?
Thank you for this intelligent question.
