what I love about this is the stark difference that we see in this kind of video. We see these cars not as some of the coolest active racing machines in the world, but as cargo being transported from one place to another on unmarked trailers. Seeing a 499p rolled out onto a trailer for some reason gives me the same vibe as watching a celebrity do an everyday activity with no makeup or anything. I couldn't even imagine F1 considering making an attempt at showing this level of closeness or intimacy with the operational side of things for fear of ruining the illusion of a show, but here we are with WEC showing us all of itself and baring itself to us its boring and humdrum side. I love it.
I love this kind of insight. I hope for next season we get a similar video but for when they ship their stuff from Fuji to Bahrain or for the european leg where things get transported over land instead.
What makes this impressive on a different level compared to Formula 1 is that whole cars are transported. It's a much different challenge compared to when you can disassemble them for easier transport.

F1 literally did a 10 minute video on the greater logistics 5 years ago. And some of the teams have videos like this on their own.
that is so cool to see the cars going into the planes take off and landing at fuji so cool
Amazing.... not only the race cars themselves, but this whole system of transport.

They should make these videos more often
Beautiful videography.
Epic video 🙏🏽🏁🔥🔥 Thank you for sharing , best race series in the world ! 👍🏽😎

nice to see this kind of content !!!!!!
💗
This is so cool seeing the race cars like this.
こうやって富士に来たんだなぁ。多くの人々の協力なしにはできないこと。皆さんありがとうございます。
Let’s have more behind the scenes stuff
The WEC’s RUclips content is 👍👍👍
Hell thanks to everybody for making it happen
camera crew taking a free flight nice
Awesome video. Love the insight.
Cooool 😃
Sempre forza ferrari non mollare mai forza ragazzi ♥️👍🇮🇹✊✊💪🔝
It appears that Lamborghini and CGR Cadillac used the cars they raced in IMSA for the WEC race at COTA.
❤
The poor Lambo got a solitarity cell 😢
Cause it’s not competing in Le Mans anymore :(
There were 37 cars in COTA, so that is probably why.
It appears that both Lamborghini and CGR Cadillac used the cars they raced in IMSA for the WEC race at COTA.
@@MrRainbowBoi What you're saying is True, but it's not the reason here. Maybe this car wasn't competing in Japan.
@@CrissC4 ah okay, it would make sense that it does a seperate journey afterwards then.
I wonder if some design constraints of these cars stem from needing to fit into commerical truck/trailers/etc.
I wonder if the drivers watch these videos as well to see parts of the process they've never seen before
Why'd the SC63 get special treatment lol
See i told you they won't include glick vanwall and isotta on their meet the legends
Well why would they? Back when the series was announced none of those manufacturers was still racing in WEC, why would they be in the series?
How do they transport the cars that have been in terrible crashes? It would be much harder to tie down a car missing all four corners.
They have to either repair and rebuild with that chassis, or a new chassis will have to be sent to the next track.
Japanese cargo workers vs American cargo workers 🤣
ANAかAAHか分からないが、成田でのハンドリング時にフォークリフトのヘッドガード上に墜落静止器具無しで登ってるのは不味く無いか?
