Great reviews! diptyque could be quite a splurge but once I tried one nothing else seemed quite as good. I have the baies, figuier, cypres and geranium rosa in regular size and tubereuse, feu de bois, ambre in smaller size. Enjoyed them all but surprisingly LOVE the ambre candle, a warm and soothing woody candle with just a hint of sweetness -- so good that I bought the ambre scented oval too.
Cool hair! Best style for you. These candles are too pricey for me but I am intrigued and thoroughly enjoyed your review of this very unique brand....I may eventually succumb.

Oh yes, it’s delicious. I actually just ordered a new Chene today for myself, it’s such a beautiful fragrance. Try Foincoupe or Bois Cire, also fabulous ones.
Drew Yauch foincoupe is very nice. I ordered it last month. Bois cire is not very pleasant, smells quite chemical . How about New York? Do you think I will like it? I hate blind buying...

I just bought a small size bottle of the new Eau des Sens edt & I love it! I'm looking to buy another edt/edp & maybe a candle or two . I have the Palm Beach candle ---had to track it down at the Tomas Maier boutique in Manhattan. I burned it several times & it didn't have any throw whatsoever ! How is the throw on the candles you've already burned? I'm looking forward to your reviews for the edps & the diffuser which I was also looking at . Happy Birthday & enjoy your new goodies :)

Jonquille is like "jjo(nasal)-kee" not "jon kwee" and Mousses is like the english word moose, silent s at the end, Feu de Bois "foo doo bwa," Chêne is "shen" . I just think of you as a perfume connoisseur, so I think you should pick up those lessons and you'll be a force to reckon with! :D
Drew, try out the free podcast "coffebreak French", it makes it really easy and fun to learn some basic French + pronunciation... having said that, nobody expects you to know French, living in Pittsburgh - keep up the good videos 8-)
