pretty easy probably knowing these 'uber smart kids' (or maybe it was elons H1-B visas). the destruct charge is electrically fired, but should have several safe interlocks. they probably close them all and tested the circuit. boom. just a little software bug, AI will fix that tomorrow.

Total or consecutive? Total I'm not sure. But this is the 4th consecutive failure. This one didn't even get off the ground. I think perhaps Elon is lying when he talks about his company's progress. It's entirely possible he's using tax payer funded contracts to work out his own R and D problems... which is not what we signed up for. He's claimed to doing amazing, ground breaking things... but with a little research it becomes clear that nothing spacex is doing is new, it's just never been done at this scale before. Nasa didn't pursue this tech 40 years ago because it was too expensive with too high of a fail rate. The government should not be giving money to a private company to do this, Elon doesn't think twice about pissing it all away. I would rather have professionals in charge that actually have to be held accountable for massive failures. If Nasa had 4 straight failures like this the funding would be pulled or at least paused. SpaceX is run by a ketamine junkie addicted to social media. Not a good situation.
