Baby mittens! I remember my honey had to go back home to get some because our daughter kept scratching her face and she didnt like her hands in the blanket.
It still shocks me about health care in the US, I'm from New Zealand and we don't have to pay anything, whether your birthing at a hospital or birthing centre. Our maternity leave is now 6months as of July 2020. I'm currently 33weeks pregnant with my second 😊

We get 2 years maternity leave and 80 percent of salary in Romania. I'm glad I don't live someplace else.

Other than toothpaste and deodorant, my hospital bag was untouched. Was so busy with baby and dealing with c-section recovery, that using my own stuff for the baby and anything I brought for myself was the last thing on my mind.

I recommend bringing nursing bra, nursing pads, nipple cream, maxi pads. I was so cold the night after delivery, I wished I had a cozy blanket.

Im pregnant right along with you and several other you tubers its been fun to go through this with someone else. Ill be 36 weeks too on Friday. My face has suffered horrible acne trauma with this one I can't wait to get my face back aswell as feel just myself again. Good luck on your delivery hope its everything you planned! Maranatha

Hi Judy! I am 38 weeks and they told me to pack everything me and hubby might need because we can't leave the hospital until we are discharged! Make sure you both pack everything including extra clothes, snacks, books, music gear, laptop, anything to make you feel comfortable! Good luck to all pregnant mamas out there at this difficult time 🌼🧡

@@aliciacalderoni1865 Technically it's Miyako but they do call her Miya 99% of the time so yeah, I can see them still continuing the "a". Although it could be just an "ah" sound so Leah could work. I really like Luna as well.
Judy I work in the hospital and please overpack as they will not let Benji leave, I am not sure what the policy is over there, but here in California they are not allowing the husband to leave.

I had my twins in Bahrain the bill came to around $12,000.... c section, 3 nights stay, everything provided. My insurance covered everything except the diapers so our bill at the end was about $15.
12,000 🤯!? So grateful for the public health care in Spain, we don't have to pay anything. 😅

I had my son in the US and I only paid $100 total. My insurance covered everything in my pregnancy and delivery. It depends on what insurance plan you go with too.

You might want to think about having Benji get you some healthy snacks since the hospital food can be gross , also it is nice and comforting to have a pillow and blanket of your own for at nighttime .

Hi Judi, it looks like you have almost everything, what about stuff for Benji food, for both of you and his toiletries bag, he can't leave for food shopping, and I hear the cafeteria is closed in hospital's, and once your in a room nobody can leave and return? so no shopping for Benji...
some our bringing in a COOLER of food for them selves, and did you need a Nursing Bra, and or a cover up did you bring a top to wear home? shoes? socks? Congratulations! I know she will be here so soon.
Pack gloves and masks you might forget them while rushing out of the house might be a good idea to store them in the glove compartment in the car in a ziplog bag
I watched your pregnancies in the past with all your daughter's. And now this time around I'm pregnant with my first and were literally within days of each other! I'm 35 and a half weeks😁 so nice to hear your experience. We're experiencing all the same things I hate when my son pushes on my bladder too lol ❤️ I hope you have a safe delivery when the time comes

Bring baby wipes!!! My hospital never had regular baby wipes they were the dry ones! And bring your own pillow and blanket. I've had 4 csections and those were a must!

My feet/ankles hands have been swollen also along with my hands. And I feel you when she's on the bladder LOL!! Our baby's name starts with an L too! her name is Leia! Awww you're so gorgeous Judy. Can't wait to see baby L she's almost here. So exciting. I was going to mention not to forget a self-care kit for yourself while in hospital and when you return home. You were missing quite a bit of stuff then I read it below. Yes pack that extra stuff but also have a postpartum basket ready when you're home. Helps a lot while trying to heal. Bring plenty of loose change for vending machines those snacks are a life saver lol. Chapstick too. Thanks for sharing :)
What I found essential was to have a night light. That way they didn’t have to turn on the light when they walked in my room. But due to my pregnancies, I stayed 5 days 4 nights. I also packed slippers for hubby and a swaddle blanket for baby cause the hospital ones are bulky to me.

You may want a softer swaddle blanket than what is provided and an extra onesie also maybe hand covers for L in case of long nails two more suggestions a extra comfy t shirt and bring sandles for u and ur guy bc hospital floors are dirty

I brought flip flops to wear in the shower, boppy pillow for nursing, my own pillow, and a blanket and pillow for my husband. Not sure if your hospital is doing this but with everything going on we were encouraged to leave at 24 hours.... in and out!

Maybe your hospital provides them, but I brought my own pads with me because I didn’t like the ones they had. That’s the only thing I can think of that you possibly forgot. Excited for you Judy!!
