I’m sorry no, putting all this money and energy into little ukraine. The world is in a recession and zelensky feels obliged to ask nations billions(almost a trillion in total) while disregarding the citizens of these countries. And not only that, disregarding other nations that don’t have the means like Ukraine example Syria, Libya, Morocco, any Indian country or African country, etc. most ridiculous thing I have seen in 34 years. I look at Zaleski in this documentary, he was a young man. I look at him today and the weight of leadership in two years has turned him into an old man. May god keep him and his family safe. The world desperately needs more like him and Sean Penn.
I don't know about that. I used to think the same thing - that he'd really aged in the past few years. But, the thing is, at this age (he and I are the same age, 46) where you really do start to age. So I don' t think it was necessarily the stress of the war the aged it, it might have just happened anyway.....we're at that age where your age really starts to show, stress or not.
Also he has a beard now, and beards tend to make people look older. I bet if he shaved, he'd look younger.
I do hope God keeps him, and Ukraine, safe. He is a true leader, and an amazing human.

Takes a lot of courage and dignity in what you believe to make a trip to Ukraine at wartime. All of us need to wake up and fight for what we believe in and not take our Freedom and Democracy for granite. Please God reign over us and touch hearts for peace.
I'm going to watch asap. What's especially sad for me is, I will have a difficult time convincing my 30something kids and my teen grandchildren to watch also. I feel I've failed because it wasn't until the elections after Obama that I realized how uninterested, and dare I say uneducated, they are. Since they don't "trust media", they only participate in very shallow life subjects, which includes lots of Tiktok, which they eat up like candy. I pick my battles and one of them will be to convince them to watch the Ukraine documentary.

Having them watch an intensive documentary for the first time would be a tall order. Perhaps you can start small by having them watch _Milk_ (2008), _Mystic River_ (2003), _I Am Sam_ (2001), _Sweet and Lowdown_ (1999), _Dead Man Walking_ (1995), _Fast Times at Ridgemont High_ (1982), or his earlier films, and work your way up.
As a 30 something this makes me sad. Sometimes I do have to tap out of the news for mental health reasons and I know most news have agendas but I still am interested/and care about this and so many other things going on in the world. Maybe it's just easier for your kids/grandkids to tap out than lean in? The mental health of my generation is at an all time low.
As a woman in my 30s, every single friend I have in my age group is informed and engaged in the political discourse. Your experience is not one I share at all. Millennials and Gen Z's also vote at higher rates than previous generations did at their age.

President Zelenskyy has banned all elections, silenced all opposition parties in Ukraine including any media that even questions his policies, closed down Russian Orthodox Churches and looted many of them, his secret service, the SBU, have been kidnapping young and old Ukrainian men off the streets and forcing them to have minimum training before being sent to the front lines. Ukraine is governed by a Western-backed dictator who welcomes and supports neo-Nazis in his own ranks. That is the reality of the situation.

I was watching the video about a month ago of a young Ukrainian boy. You see he was the only male child in his family every other one was dead no cousins no nephews no uncles no father no grandfather. The video was not a fun video The boy was committing suicide. You see the video starts out with him sitting there in front of his webcam saying how his father was taken not conscripted but literally picked up and forced to fight. How he's been conscripted despite the fact that he's the only male heir of his lineage. And how he knows he's not able to do the fighting and will die as have his friends who have gone through the same issue. So the video concludes with the boy walking to the noose he set up behind him and kicking the chair out from under him along with his suicide note and his conscription papers. Ukraine is losing this war and badly and America has no idea what the fight is really about or why. They have no idea of the atrocities Ukraine has perpetrated and continues to perpetrate against its own people. If half the people who watch the view even paid attention to the news from the past they would know that MSNBC and CNN have written articles and discussed how corrupt and awful Ukraine is
