    Too much talking. Love the build though.

    Just put a small fuel pump on it if it's constantly running out of fuel at high RPMs. A pulse pump off a small ATV, a barbed fitting in your intake, and a vacuum hose, is all that would be needed and the issue would be gone.

      The float was just set way to low out of the box. Been good to go since I raised the float level now

    Very good video, thanks for that, I wanted to ask you about the engine, is that engine good for daily use or is it an engine that requires frequent maintenance? How often do they maintain it, I want to adapt it to my motorcycle that I use daily but I would like to know about maintenance

    This is why i converted my engine to carb. It came with euro 4 injection. It was a mess. It ran too rich and had no power and hiccuped like crazy.
    Now it has plenty (legally its a moped so 45 kph is only allowed but it goes 80 now.) The only issue i have is it bogs and stalls, when i open the gas wide from stationary.

    It's a great bike.How many teeth are there in the front and back gears?I want to refer to it.

    is there a reason you don't usually kick start the bike? i've heard varying opinions about it can damage these motors. Curious your thoughts.

    • @bolanbuilt5903
      @bolanbuilt5903  3 года назад +1

      I usually only use the electric start when I first start it up for the day because I have it near by. After that anytime I turn it off I kick start it. Just a bit easier to get it fired up on a cold start. But if I don’t use the electric start on a cold start it usually fires up in 2-3 kicks.

    I'm a first-time watcher and am unfamiliar with exactly WHAT bike you have. It looks like a Honda Trail 70, but has obviously been modified.
    Is that a Trail 70? Is it bored out to a larger cc size? What is the cc size? Is it a completely different engine (ie: Lifan SSR125, Pitster, etc)? How'd you get a 5th gear in it?
    I'd like to know a lot more about the mods you've made.
    Awesome bike and riding too!

    • @bolanbuilt5903
      @bolanbuilt5903  3 года назад +10

      Yes it's a 1970 trail 70, currently I have a zs 190cc swap in it with a 212cc big bore kit. 5 speed trans. Fmf pipe. 34mm carb.

    Can you add a steering damper? All I could imagine is you dropping down from the wheelie in to a tank slapper

    You don't even build up any revs with your clutch when you wheelie. How do you pull up so easily?

    • @bolanbuilt5903
      @bolanbuilt5903  3 года назад

      just hammer the throttle and pull up! short wheelbase so the weight shift makes it pretty effortless.

  • @countrycanadian44
    @countrycanadian44 2 года назад

    Funny u can get almost 65mph with proper gearing with a stock 125cc lifan with my z50 I thing 190cc is big waste of money not huge diffrence in top speed in my eyes

    • @bolanbuilt5903
      @bolanbuilt5903  2 года назад +4

      I've been 80+ on mine with the 212. It's not all about top speed, it's how fast it gets there and the torque. Try to pull that 125 up for a wheelie at 65mph.

    • @davelowets
      @davelowets 2 года назад +3

      "Almost 65" and well over 70 are 2 VERY different things.... If it's a "waste of money" to you, then you don't make enough money.
