This was a big Top 40 hit on Australian AM radio 1973/74. Monsters Holiday was re-released in 1973 and went to the top of the charts 10 years after it was first released. Ah, the novelty song. The Streak by Ray Stevens went to No.1 in Australia. There are plenty more, but I'll leave those for other people to enter if they want to.
