Ok my question is how did this just spontaneously happen to my phone and when will it happen again…I missed a super important message that I didn’t get until the next day.

I have a question whenever I press or hold onto js one specific message I can’t see the rest it’s js a dark screen plus the message I’m holding how do I fix this
Have you tried toggling iMessage off and back on again, or resetting your network settings? Sometimes those steps can help. If the issue persists, you might also want to check if your software is up to date.
Sorry to hear that. Sounds frustrating. The problem may be on the receiver's end rather than the sender. That may be why only some are receiving your messages.
@@noyzemaka1 -👍💡 I called 🍎 Care, my call got forwarded and escalated a few times and finally an “advanced” tech support person told me iMessage was blocked because someone (they have no idea who) reported my number as Spam or something for sending unwanted text messages. That’s crazy because I only send text messages to people I have personally met or personally know. 😭 👍🙏She unblocked the feature and it works fine. 😃
Tried all these suggestions. Kinda frustrating! I can send and receive messages from all my friends, and etc, except 2 of my adult kids. They have assured me that I am not blocked! The only way I can reach them is sending a group text to all four of my adult kids. This started up out of the blue. I have an iPhone and they’re android.
Hi Zoey! If your phone number was turned off, it might be affecting iMessage. Try turning your phone number back on and ensure that your iPhone is set up correctly for iMessage by going to Settings > Messages and checking if iMessage is enabled. 😊
So in the process of the me clicking the iMessage button I clicked addresses right underneath before the button clicked off and then I selected my phone number again and it worked

Have you tried to remove your number and reselect your number again ? That worked for me if that helps

Try this as it worked for me ….go to General settings scroll down to Shut Down at the bottom then touch, wait 30 seconds then power back on.

Thanks for the video. Followed the steps. My phone works ok now. Heard it could be a SIM card problem but my iPhone 14 doesn't need a SIM card.

I have found that you may need to turn off your WiFi then turn it back on. Sometimes there is contention between data coming from the tower and WiFi.

Not working for me. Phone freezes while opening both iMessage and the message settings
If your phone is freezing, try restarting it first. You might also want to check for any software updates or reset your network settings.
I had same issue but thomethic helped me it can be so frustrated but thomethics will fix it for you he is a verified Meta agent

@@gloriajuarez7520 - 😫I finally got in touch with Apple….it was an issue on their end. They had to do something in the system to restore iMessaging.
