I forgot that the Buddhist and Shinto shrines in Japan are very busy during the Japanese New Year. This is especially true at Izumo Taisha, arguably one of the oldest Shinto shrines in the entire country (as you can see from the heavy passenger traffic at Izumotaisha-mae Station).

いつも楽しい動画ありがとうございます。さすがに出雲大社さんですね＾＾われらが上田の別所線も北向観音さんへの輸送でラッシュになりますが。比べものになりません（当然）。一度元日にいってみたいものですね。
元旦に里帰りが恒例の我が家。
