@OurCatioHome I usually buy cheap Chinese IP cameras from ebay, they are top 50 $/€ and do the job. Maybe the picture is not top HD quality, but I need these cameras to track my cats so they are good for the job.
Question about your locks. I always thought I should put the lock on the inside so it could be an emergency exit. It also makes it inaccessible to unwanted visitors. Why do you put yours on the outside of the door?
@@OurCatioHome I realized later that many people only have a kitty door installed in the wall or a window to access the catio so they would have to have a lock on the outside of a exterior catio door. In my case, I can access the catio through a sliding glass door and have an exterior door on the catio as an emergency exit, so I can put the lock on the inside of the door.

The locks are just in case a stranger want to go inside without our permission.
