Always enjoy riding the Yamanote Line... whenever I'm on holiday in Japan it's almost a comfort...
I love these urban landscapes and at the same time I marvel at the logistics involved at managing the mind-boggling complexity of this infrastructure.
It's so sad to see them out of the Yamanote Line soon, i just cant imagine this line without those trains..

Bongo in a Top Hat the E235 series trains. As of the 20th of January the last E231-500 series train #506 was pulled from revenue service.
@@ninjakafi81 they are being used on chuō-sōbu line.
