thats sweet i fished that river many time as a kid and camped there with my brothers and dad in our ted Williams john boat i can always say we never had a skunked day on the Ocklawaha river our average catches were 20 a day a piece and average waits of bass were 2 pounders to 5 and 6 pounders respectably constant crappie and brim action were also respectable with huge channel cats and bow fin that river is a extant fishery like no other place in the world besides the stick marsh in palm bay or the everglades man iv seen some of the biggest gators in my hole life in the Ocklawaha river its like Jurassic park up in there thank you sir for bring back some fond memory's fishing that river as a kid reminds me of fishing that river with my dearly departed father

Last time I was on the Ocklawaha, ended up catching catfish while rubber worming for bass. Blue gill fishing was excellent and the garfish were in attack mode. Gators were everywhere too. That river is a gem of a place. Never get tired of that place.

      It's a really old ranger. I think it's a '78. Still floats though!
