I would be interested in the topic of expressing frustration, hurt, expressing boundaries and so on. It seems like according to your concept you work on self care and displaying a more happy, loving self. Maybe that's important and needed in the beginning to create a new kind of emotional field at home. But what is when life goes on? Doesn't an intimate connection, if it's real, also need to have space for some of the ugly feelings? If I had a bad day, maybe I don't feel like smiling, but like crying and I want someone to comfort me. If I always show up smiling, no one would know about my real feelings. Also always communicating in a loving and understanding way is huge emotional work. It's the work of a therapist in your free time. When is there space to let the guards down? What about setting boundaries towards disrespectful behavior from others?
I hear you! Those are great questions- I highly recommend reading the book. The 6 skills covers all aspects and truly empowers the women - striking the balance of respect and self honor.
Vulnerability is a skill I believe she does talk about, and part of embracing your feminine energy. ❤ using her books core teachings (look up 6 intimacy skills) works great if you pair it with John grays “men are from mars, women are from Venus”
