Love this. I needed something that takes less time than a mini album. Thank you. I lived in western Wa for 70 years, and agree completely with your "70 degrees, maybe 75" , but that's it!! Now we live in sw Idaho... cold winters, hot summers...yikes. Still love Washington weather.
In Iowa it’s not so much the hot it’s the humidity that wears a person out! Yes A/C helps I have it on 73 and I don’t even keep it that warm in the winter lol I do love your tutorials so easy to follow

I have just found your channel and I love it! Two questions, though. Does the waterfall mechanism fit on the left side of the folio as well as on the right side? Also do 4x6” photos fit this folio?
So sorry just catching up on all my comments. Yes you can change them up however you want and for the waterfall on the right yes you can fit 4x6 photos since the page is 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 😉

Love the tutorial! Not sure if you're aware though that some of the measurements are off. You can't have a 4" book with 4 1/4" pages. I ended up having to cut all of mine down because they didn't fit. But it's still a really cute tutorial! Love your stuff!

Does the color of the 11 x 17 cardstock you used for the waterfall match the color of the 12 x 12 cardstock that you used for the cover? It looks like it in the video but things can look different IRL. If so, who makes the 12 x 12? Is the 11 x 17 cardstock 65 lb.?
Sorry I didn’t see this msg come through. Yes I do base first the decorative paper. But some wrap the covers in decorative papers instead of cardstock 😉
It might be. Can you color it in with a sharpie? I do that all the time or I the corners that I cut off underneath. Most of the time once you later u don’t see it anyway. You can also cut a piece to go all the way to the edge of book 😉

I have seen people use cereal boxes cut apart in place of chipboard. Do you think it would work for your folio? Have you ever used cereal boxes, etc? Thanks
I haven’t but it would totally work. You could even use cardstock it just depends on how thick u want ur cover. But all will work just fine. My friend recycles the back of desk calendars 😉 all good 👍🏼
I just leave a 1/8 in from my chipboard. You can also use a piece of chipboard as a guard when you cut. But when I started I used s tool then I got use to the space and can freehand (most of the time it’s good lol). Also, if u search for “miter tool for paper” in Safari you can find several tools that will work.

Ice cubes in your bra is an entirely legit way of coping with extreme heat-not that we get above 30 degrees celcius here in the UK.... Last year all everyone did was moan about it being "too hot"! To be honest 50 degrees celcius is hotter than the devils crotch but I've only ever dealt with that for 4 days in my life in the middle of Australia! Why doesn't someone invent air con clothing because the struggle is real!

Yes for the most part it does. Once the design paper is on u can’t tell anyway but I know what you mean. I use 12x12 from Michael’s.
