This is sadly one of those games that unless you have a large group of friends to play with, it's not worth it.
I could only imagine the state of public lobbies in this game.....
This was my first thought halfway through the review.
honestly the public lobbies ive been in have been great, pretty much everyone has been immersed in it, not really had any issues with trolling etc

@@kresi3283 glad to hear that, but in my experience from similar games, just wait until this becomes more popular. It has nowhere to go but down. I would love to play more social induction games, but to OP's point, if you don't have a group of friends, the experience quickly becomes a mixed bag at best.

"Slackers have to do" is a flawed impression of a true slacker.
As a professional slacker in real life, I can tell you there's a lot of work involved.
Slackers will do anything fun which isn't "work", so this portrays them perfectly lol.
As a former shift worker, the amount of work I saw Slackers put in during a shift so they could get out of a 1 hour task that would be due in three shifts time was staggering.
It was known as "swinging" and slackers on every shift were engaged in a never ending battle to try and swing jobs onto the other shifts.
So its Real World "Among Us" lol.

I'm going to predict this will be the only review of this game that doesn't mention Among Us once.
I'm happy I escaped this disgusting biome. Our department was like 3 IT experts plus 10 people having a career (via regulations and process bullshit).
This is what i call a party game. Depending on what kind of friends you have, you can have a lot of fun with this and its the simple little touches to this game that makes the immersion great. More games like this please

This may be the only pvp gameplay i would like but it still all about group play that in itself is limited and even if they had single player game it would never work like most game doing this.

Fortnite had limited time mode like that called "Imposters" which was based on Among Us, was much more simplified than this but a lot of fun actually.
Hearing people describe Among Us 4 years later is actually hilarious. Both of these are good games though.

The unfortunate reality of a small indie game like this is, it doesn't get the advertising it deserves, thus reducing its exposure. That, in addition to modern gamers all too often having a short attention span that cause them to uninstall after a few hours... and no advanced AI you can play with/against in singleplayer, gives this a very limited shelf-life. It's a bummer, the idea of the game is hilarious, I just wish it had a longer life expectancy.

6:06 After reading many negative reviews on Steam, this seems to be a common experience in public lobbies with this game's community, as there is supposedly no moderation in the game. I'm keen to see you stream it as it does seem like an interesting addition to the genre if you have a lot of friends (or a good steaming community), but as a high school teacher I hear more than enough cringe at work without inviting random unsavoury-types to speak to me directly through my headphones. I might give it a try if it goes on sale, but by then the game might be dead anyway.
So a game where you can actually say n-word without being banned from ever playing the game again? Sounds brilliant tbh.
