Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat 😆😆😆😆 I'm pinning this immediately. I would want that to happen as soon as possible though; before the end of this year. By God's Grace it's possible. God bless for the thought alone.🙏🙏🕺
I grew up listening to this choir. These videos are helping me rediscover them with new ears. I'll never take them for granted again. God bless you, brother! ❤
If you like the battle himn of the republic, get the version where they sing it out in the open at the West Point graduation, it can not be beat. The Hallelujah Chorus it is wonderful at Christmas.
Cool reaction. The battle hymn of the republic was the anthem for the union army under the leadership of abraham Lincoln during our civil war from 1860 to 1865. If you catch president Trump's inauguration, you will be able to see them live. They have been performing for republican presidents since 1911.😊
Thank you for having them touch your life...indeed tabernacle choir has been my favourite choir for years.. dearly beloved choresters thank you for your selfless service and devotion..indeed your sacrifices and legacies will forever remain Amen♥️
Love your reactions to the Tabernacle Choir! Thanks for posting them. Also, if you are interested, they do a weekly broadcast every Sunday called "Music and the Spoken Word." If you ever can make it to Salt Lake City, Utah, you can listen to them for free in person.
Wow! It has been a while since I have heard this. It MOVES YOU! Thank you for doing a reaction to this hymn by this choir and orchestra. It was beautiful to hear and to see how it touched you, too. ❤❤❤ God bless you!
I get so much delight watching your reactions to sacred music renditions of the LDS Church choirs (they're the only videos I've seen of yours so far. I find myself coaching you as you move through each of my favorite parts...like "wait for it...yep! I KNEW that would sink deep into your soul!" Or "YES! I love that you feel it!" It has been a powerful part of my life and stirs my soul to the core. ❤ Thank you for sharing your raw, honest response with the world!
Has anybody invited T-NUELZ to April general conference and Music and the Spoken Word? If not someone needs to get him tickets so he can experience the Tabernacle Choir in person.
I don't consider myself as an "active" member but I do love going to the Music and the Spoken word with my daughters. The music is great for the soul. Always makes me feel welcome even when I fight my demons.
Hahahahahahaha. I would sincerely love to experience this live. That would be the Zenith of EXPERIENCE for me. I trust God for the Grace and opportunity.
This choir performs weekly on the broadcasts "Music and the Spoken Word" every Sunday. You don't have to react to it, but I know you'd really enjoy it!
This is a fantastic rendition, but there’s an even better one by the Tabernacle Choir believe it or not. No need to make another video of it, but go watch this same song but on a decades old performance for US President Reagan. It will blow you away Edit: I went back and rewatched that older performance, and they both have their own uniquely incredible parts! I’m honestly unsure if either one is better!
@5:52 I grew up with the gentleman in the top left corner. He's still a good friend. There was also a girl from our high school class in the choir at the same time but she didn't get any face time on this video. They are both out of the choir now because they are required to step down after 20 years or age 60 (whichever happens first).
Good to have your affirmation. You might like "I'm Bound for the Promised Land" (from "Paint Your Wagon"), not a hymn but a song needing boundless exuberance, and the Choir delivers.
Difficult to say everything that I want to in a short comment, but I’ll try. If you understand what was going on in the United States at this time, you will never listen to this song in the same way again. At the beginning of the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln said that he wouldn’t touch slavery. He only wanted to maintain the union. He went through a personal conversion, and then he took the nation through a national conversion. He once stated that “God wills this contest and he wills that it not end yet.” he called for days of fasting and prayer and national repentance. In his second inaugural address, he specifically talked about the sin of slavery. When have you ever known a national leader in a time of war stand up and say in effect “we may not be the good guys.” Both the north and the south had to reform and Lincoln knew it. He also came to understand that it would take time. A quick union victory would have left the slavery issue unresolved and the union as a whole unreformed. A quick southern victory would leave slavery firmly entrenched and our republic irreparably damaged. Through the travail of this prolonged conflict God reformed the hearts and minds of the citizens of this great nation. By the end of the war the union knew what it was fighting for and this song represents that so beautifully. Let us live to make men free. I love this song!
I have a recommendation Suo Gan a traditional Welsh lullaby by Tabernacle Choir ruclips.net/video/wwhnbJmx-i0/видео.html It’s just the music I don’t know of a live recording but this is so soothing!
Let me know when you want to see them in person. We can do that!

You should listen to Andrea Bocelli and The Tabernacle Choir sing "The Lord's Prayer".
I have heard this song by them so many times but I get chills and feel the Spirit everytime!

I remember Reagan dubbing them America's Choir...
