Dr. Limbrick provides more information on Chiari I malformation and syringomyelia and their diagnosis, treatment and management in 2016. He answers some really tough questions about nerve damage, chronic pain, sports playing and many others problems that most doctors may not even consider. "Nerve pain tends to not respond as well to Chiari decompression as headaches. In my experience, it can even change the way it affects you... for example, I'm learning now that my patients have itch."

Neuropathic itch is the worst. I haven't had my surgery yet but it's disappointing to hear him say that it might not go away 😞
