Cherry Tales Ep3 (How To Mini Me Swap)

This video I show you how to mini me swap your Honda civic! There a couple different ways and a couple of options. My car is obd1 Dx civic, I have a D15B7 bottom end with a D16Z6 head with a A/T running a EX A/T P28 ECU.
I explain to the best of my abilities in this video on how to do the swap, with all the info on what is needed.
I am going to make a newer/updated version as my knowledge has grown since this was filmed in the past.

Either Y8 or Z6 will work on any obd1 system. The only thing that is different is the cam rocker, and combustion chamber size. The Y8 will increase compression vs the Z6. Most guy's run a Z6 because they will boost it eventually. The cylinder head cam/rocker configuration is different from each other so please make sure what ever head you use get a cam for that cylinder head. Y8 cam will not work for a Z6 head and vise versa.

The Z6 will increase the combustion chamber as well. D15B7 block height is smaller than the Z6, creating a smaller combustion chamber.
Only the cam gears are interchangeable. For the B7 with Z6 you can't use a Z6 cam gear because of the deck height, the Y7 or Y8 will correct the timing for the deck heights or an adjustable cam gear. For reverse mini-me you can use Z6 or B7 cam gear.
