FO'C yes, the Ned rig will usually save the day no matter where you are fishing. Weedy, clear water on a sunny day is a challenge and you have some nice Goggle Eye/Rock Bass in there and some perch too. That crankbait rod will come in handy even though you didn't get much fish action out of it. You have to switch techniques the way you did sometimes to put fish in the boat. Good job changing it up. tight lines from Rick
Nice video. Your having issues with the crank because you are not fishing it in a crank bait spot. Find some rocks or drop offs. You will catch them there on a crank.

It's one of the more popular ice fishing spots in this area in the winter. Lots of big gills come through the ice!

For sure, not too many rocks around me, but I've gotta be more diligent finding the productive drop offs. Definitely something to work on.
