Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the twelfth major installment and the twenty-second release in the Assassin's Creed series, and a successor to 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Set in the 9th century, the player controls Eivor, a Viking raider and Assassin during the Viking invasion of Britain. The game is scheduled for release in late 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, and is to be Ubisoft's launch title for the next-generation consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
In Valhalla, the player takes on the role of Eivor, a Viking raider who leads their fellow Vikings from Norway in raids and battles against King Aelfred and the four Anglo-Saxon medieval kingdoms of England - Wessex, Northumbria, East Anglia, and Mercia - near the end of the 9th century as part of the Viking invasion of Britain. Additionally, the game will continue to tie into the modern-day events related Abstergo Industries' researcher Layla Hassan, who was featured in both Origins and Odyssey, and to the Templars and Assassins that have tied the series together.
Players will have the choice of playing Eivor as either male or female and are further able to select their hair, warpaint, clothing and armor. Combat has been changed to allow dual wielding of almost any weapon. The "Eagle Eye" mechanics are also expected to return in the form of a raven that will be Eivor's animal companion in the game. The player can use the raven to scout the nearby areas as previous avian companions had done in Origins and Odyssey. The game will rely less on a traditional leveling system and instead focus more on the selection of skills through skill trees selected by the player as Eivor advances through the game. Enemies will be rated based on the collection of skills. The skills trees will be similar to those found in The Witcher, Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Player choices through conversation or gameplay options will have impacts on the characters and their political alliances with other non-player characters.
A central feature of the game is the settlement that the player, as Eivor, will help build and lead during the game. Ismail described its importance as "a lot of what you're doing in the game world is, at the end of the day, going to feed into the settlement so that it can grow, it can flourish." The player will be able to direct construction of certain types of buildings which in turn provide benefits for gameplay. To build these structures, the player will need to lead the vikings on raids to collect resources. Naval combat will return, though more as a means of faster medium for travel for performing such raids, and for escaping after land combat, rather than in engagement with other naval vessels.
Valhalla is a single player game, but will include online components for the purpose of encouraging players to share their progress and creativity.

Just a heads up - second piece in the church where you said you need to raid to get inside - break the stained glass windows. More often than not, one of them will not be barred up ☺️☺️

2:10 for churches like that you can shoot the stained glass to enter so you don't have to raid the place, some have metal bars so you might have to try different windows
Still need to raid most due to needing a second person to help open the big chests
Also most of the churches after ledecestirscire area have bars on ALL windows. So that doesn't work later on in 95% of cases.

I wouldn't agree with that Magistor is the best Raven armor. Currently I've upgraded the first Raven set up to mythical level and it is better than Magistor fully upgraded. Not to mentioned that I'm still missing three upgrades on cloak and chest which will make it even better. Didn't check the other parts of set but I guess I don't have to. The bonuses are also lame. It would've been better if u would be harderd to spot while having Magistor set, no matter time of day or smth. Anyway I was thinking of smth new from the Ravens set since I've already spent many points into the set in skill tree but I guess I will stay with that set till the end.

If anyone or the guy who made this video can help me out with the small question here it is I'm just curious the perks that you put toward each of your skill trees the wolf The Raven and bear do they apply to your character just in general as a whole or do they only have anything to do with that specific branch
Why is no one talking about mixing armor sets considering the 2/5 set bonus is usually better than the 5/5? The set bonuses are lackluster to begin with but mixing sets seems to be a better option than going for the 5/5 set bonus.

The vambraces as mythical state look like basim’s vambraces but just metal or some type of iron.
At the second lacation u can break window theres 2 on both sides that can be passed
Great armour but looks the best before you upgrade it. The fur is black but go brown when you upgrade and to much metal and gold added. So glad I didn't upgrade this at all its a perfect assassin/viking mix.
Raven Clan is the best! fully upgraded.

at Leah Villa Garrison, In the building behind the Chest for the Magister's Robes there are some explosive jars. just go up the ladder, move the thing in the way of the window and go in and get it. NO need for those explosive skills.

Quick question will there be enough of each ingot type to upgrade multiple sets? Cuz ive already cleared the whole left side of wessex and still need one more level with main axe 2 more levels with second axe, bow and gauntlets. Do these ingots regen?
They turn up at traders after a certain thing apparently, I think you have to be a high enough level
As you complete more story arcs you'll start being able to buy ingots at traders, so their isn't a finite amount of ingots in the game you'll just have to save a lot of silver.

Why would increase melee damage at night be a good stat? Feels like one of the absolute worst stats in the game considering all other sets bonus are constantly applied or applied in a battle. Sure one raid in the story is guaranteed at night but after that - just hope its night when you fight or constantly meditate to keep the night going? Trash in comparison to even the first raven armor.
This is correct. Both set bonuses; night melee and ranged are trash. The base stats maybe good and the looks great, but to call this the "best Raven clan armor" is just click bait.

This set looks great but on the flawless upgrade it glitches a lot, like I can see eivor’s chest through the armor when I’m wearing it in battle and in cut scenes...it bothered me to the point where I just stopped using it. And it’s such a shame because I actually like the look of it, is there a way to let Ubisoft know about this??

Lol...I make up for it by being as violent as possible at all times. The game does not like it when you go full viking and kill civilians...never go full viking
It's funny, I just started playing about a month ago and I'm checking this channel and one other for help/tips/hints but they disagree on almost everything. ;-) The other channel said this was one of the very worst sets in the game (though he did like how it looked). Shows you why this game is so good. No one can agree on what's "right" or "wrong."

no... assassination is its own damage type completely separate from melee damage...but you can basically instant kill anyone with assassination if you have advanced assassination or turn on the option for all assassinations to succeed and cause instant death.

How can I tell which sets are either wolf, or raven or bear set? Apart from the ones obviously named.
Look at the little diamond above the gear name it will have a raven bear or wolf. Oh and they are also the same color as the upgrade tree color so bear=red wolf=blue and raven is yellow

just play the game, you can easly get them. I just checked my inventory and saw that i have this set not even knowing it. 1st set is more then good, work your way to uprade it, i think its better to have less stuff but more way to upgrade

He unsheathed his weapon because an enemy saw him.. I'm pretty sure you can't unsheathe your weapon without attacking
The only reason i’m not using this set is because it’s bugged for me. You can look through the character in the armpits
you can toggle the look off and still have armor specs on just hover over the piece of armor on click your right stick you make invisible
@@MYNinjaLOS23 yes i’m aware, but that doesn’t help with the armor being bugged so that you can see through the character in the armpits. Ruins immersion

2 handed swords didn't even exist yet they're in the game, so why are one handed swords that did exist not in the game except for the NPCs WHO DO have them. Garbage decision Ubisoft.

I'm struggling to upgrade my weapons and armour because I can't find the metals and stuff. Any advice where to look please?
You can also sell all your trinkets and purchase ore and leather from markets, make sure your doing that.
Unlock cartographer in your camp, which will allow you buy map markers which lets u know where the armour pieces and the upgrade metals are with unique icons. It saved me time coz I knew exactly where to go if I want to upgrade stuff. Also based on area difficulty the rarity of the materials will change, for example tungsten ingot will be available only in higher level areas. Also check with traders in multiple areas, they sell upgrade metals for some silver.

It actually really doesn't run bad on last gen consoles tho, I haven't had any bugs or performance issues on PS4. It looks great too.

I have to say great video. What I dislike is that you named it raven clan.. Its not raven clan outfit.. And I have been looking for the raven clan outfit on mythical but I keep getting directed to this video, very annoying
It is raven clan due to the symbol of the yellow raven on the armor or weapon pieces, they either have the raven, red bear, or blue wolf. Choosing skills from the tree will up the stats of each type

Excalibur looks dumb, I really think Ubisoft dropped the ball on the weapons in this game. They Spear that is supposed to look like Odins spear has a tiny head, and all the swords are over sized. The nadles are so freaking long. It reminds me of an Anime looking sword.
Ummmmm spears didn't all have huge heads and all the swords are two handed lol they're called greatswords for a reason
