His entire spell at Barca was such a train-wreck and it wasn’t all his fault. This is Laporta’s doing, hiring an inexperienced Xavi for all the wrong reasons, and now sacking him because it was the easiest choice to make. I’M SO GLAD the rumors of Rafa Marquez coming up from Barca B to manage the first team didn’t pan out, he would have followed the same path because of the Front office’s incompetence/short-sightedness.
In my point of view, it was good for both, Xavi was already at his limit as a Coach, clearly there was no decent tactic on the field, as Barça is so deeply in trouble that for me the arrival of Hans Flick will bring a another mentality on the field.😈 Just look at that same Bayern from Munich that beat Barça 8x2 😅, it was precisely Flick who was in charge of the team and no one could stop that Bayern. ✈✈
When he got hired I always thought we should have got Ten Hag for 2/3 years and have Xavi coach Ajax since he didn’t want to coach the B team. It would have been perfect for him: He get to learn how to coach a big team and coach in the champions league without the pressure of having to win it every season. And then he would have come back to Barca battle tested and ready.
@@timothymuntu9027 yes i agree, it would benefit him alot to start with a team that play in highest league plus cl but not has to win all titles. Plus a team that has above avarege economy so he can build a team with his style and see how it works against some of the best teams in cl.
