- Here is a guide on how to play an outside fighter using footwork, jabs and straight punches. I get a 2nd round knock out using this technique!

Counter punchers are most worst nightmare. They never lose stamina
You're kinda spamming that right hand though. I do the same move and recently have really perfected the timing and yea, you an knock guys down with one good one. I try not to spam it though since I hate facing spammers myself so try to keep it in control

People hate outsider fighters in this game because we make it boring at try to win on the cards. Outside boxers get treated like campers in call of duty games lol but I like winning to much to just brawl like I'm playin tekken

Anyone still playing? I maxed out my straights, but i never get knockouts or stuns with them, am i just being extremely unlucky? I play pretty much like in the vid, i just combo more with jabs since i have to try to win on points.
Outside fighting is superior to inside style, you can throw a lot of counter stikes, and be at full stamina even in round 12, while your opponent barely can move. with this style i was able to beat every opponent at first try in G.O.A.T difficulty, making them look like amateurs. i dont even use hayemakers... Tyson in this game is a little tricky, but he is just comes forward as you retreat, then a well timed straight can knock him down, instantly.

I got. 10 8 round using pacquiao against Duran using a outside fight technique, and he didn't even go down. He's hard to get away from too like Tyson, but I slipped, weaved, blocked, jabbed and through straights and long range uppercuts that just tore him apart. I wish I was recording it cause it was probably my best round without knocking someone out in this game.
I have big trouble fighting aggressive fighters online like tyson,when they walk me down and pin me on the ropes i try and fight back and nearly always gets beat,in fight night round 3 i got to 52nd world ranked,i can't get anyehere in this game
To fight on the out supreme patience is the most important thing also learn to use the clinch effectively. Also use the showboat button and tempt the opponent to chase you and the counter him
If u throw too many haymakers on higher diffculty u can get countered very easier and tire if u dont get the knock out. My plan is fight on the outside and counter. If opponent is moving up i just throw jabs and circle around him to get out of corners or ropes

Working outside will help, as jabs on this game can easily break an opponents guard, also working the body can have a really great effect as opponents react to surprise big body hit, leaving them open for a nice upper-cut or hook uptop. As far as stunning goes counter punching is probably your best bet, step and weave often, if your opponent is the opposite stance to you then step right, as keeping an outside foot helps with power and helps you dodge.
Any tips on more effective blocking?

jabs are strong if you put them in a combo you can knock em out fast me: 79 allover vs other online: 90 overall last round and 2nd knockdown probally cause he only was throwing powerpunches and i was to fast :3

@TheOzzyProductions when they are stunned, hit them in the body. this makes them stop moving, then switch over to their head. The main reason why they knock u down with 2 punches is probably because you're not watching ur stamina, and u let it go empty. once its empty ur basically useless. biggest tip i can give u: never get too excited. if they're stunned, remain calm and try to actually knock him down.
@LeeRoy5804 As the name says it's a power jab, it's more powerful and adds more chances of stunning your opponent. You should try doing combinations os jabs(quick punches) and straights(power punches), because straights are much more effective at stunning your opponent

Hey I got this game a few days ago and, well i'm not to bad but I'm having trouble actually knocking someone out. Every time I get someone on low health they just walk back and regain their health, and none of my punches will hit. Also, I hardly ever stun people, since I don't know how. This means I cant KO them. Thirdly, I get them on really low health and then the just punch me twice and I'm down. These are driving me away from the game although I want to like it and improve. Please help! thx.
I’m so new as well but when they are stunned hit their body a bit to slow them down, then beat the crap out of their noggin, also get as close as possible before punching
