- Allan Pittman and Bryan Lynch review the essential teachings of two historic figures, Helena Blavatsky, the founder of the Theosophical Society, who specialized in the teachings of the East (particularly esoteric Buddhism) and Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Anthroposophy, who specialized in the teachings of the West (particularly esoteric Christianity). The two worked both together and apart to bring in the teachings of the New Age.
This talk was contributed to the GBH Forum Network by the Theosophical Society in Atlanta is a local chartered lodge of the Theosophical Society in America and the International Theosophical Society (Adyar). The Theosophical Society is a worldwide organization that was founded in New York on November 17, 1875. Why is it that so-called followers of the Bible or Biblical text have so much trouble with what it teaches? By this point I mean "giants of the earth" or that angels can be aliens. And why does a God need prayer? Actually he does not? Prayers are almost always for self or others but rarely ever for God to be well and strong.

Fabulous lecture 👏 I was lucky enough to grow up in a household that taught this. Thank you for teaching others the same. It’s a difficult topic to explain to others, especially when they’re closed minded.
It takes a lot of courage and confidence to give a talk like this. The subject matter is so taboo in modern times.
you are so lucky i wish i grew up with this information from the day i could read/write!!! my grandma now that i look back on it hinted at this stuff so subtly that my little self didn't think twice about what she hinted at. i wish she could be more open with it but understand why she wasn't.

The guy at the beginning is extremely insightful and has clearly spent years discussing the same subjects- I struggled the first couple of times I listened to this-but I ve had a breakthrough on the fourth and he’s slightly hilarious and endearing. Cool guy. 🧡
The first speaker is absolutely brilliant! I learned more from his synthesis and his insights then from many years in college and from my own studies of Steiner. I was completely dumbfounded by the second speaker interrupting him and talking OVER his presentation! Horrible and rude! I felt sad for the first speaker who showed he was more of a man demonstrating utter patience and restraint! Where and when will the first speaker be speaking again! He is a mystic, s saint and a true intellectual!
Sadly he fails to acknowledge the glaring schism between Blavatsky and Besant; she, Bailey, and Leadbeater were responsible for the falsely attributed volumes of the secret doctrine and over 60,000 alterations to her magnum opus in published editions post to her death.
It is such a shame he rambles so much and sounds very unsure what he is saying when the people he discuss are very fluent and sure what they describe. My mind body and soul tells me to continue to think for myself and follow my own spirit as after all you should never expect anyone else to tell you what you feel and to believe in. Jesus the light bearer and Ahriman the taker of our spirit to share.

I’ve learned a lot about Theosophy, Anthroposophy, Masters like Gurdjieff, the Sufis and the Sargon Brotherhood. All fascinating journeys to higher inner “ knowing”, “Gnosis” expanding our perceptions. Esoteric Christianity is what truly resonates for me, because at the end of the day, SCIENCE IS THE STUDY OF ABSTRACT MATHEMATICS, ENERGY, and it’s all really about SPIRITUALITY AND HIGHER COMPREHENSION OF OUR UNIVERSE AND OUR PLACE WITHIN, AND BEYOND.

Interesting. That is what I see in the 7th Day Adventist belief system. But I admit I don't believe in God in any way. Though I believe in soul reincarnation and I have strong faith in this because I remember some of them. My mother, worrying about me, consulted a psychic who told her that she had nothing to worry about, that I was a very old soul at least 3,300 years old. Surprisingly, what I had felt most of my life, but I have never shared. Well I guess this is it.
I am not here to retell past experiences, I am only here to record events and while I have given lessons to others I am not here to teach but be a recorder.
If I had my youth back, I’d train as a Steiner Waldorf teacher. I so believe in kindling the soul in young people.

The Waldorf method should have become the "standard" of today's mainstream primary education. I guess i won't witness that in my current life.

Listened to many Rudolph Steiner lectures. I always appreciate others input on what they take from such profound knowledge. I have an illness similar to this man and having such ailments opens your perception.. so I truly value this man's views.

@@peteroconnor6394 Did you know that his decendants want his messages to be known, so they have specifically set up translators for us to get the info as clear as possible. Also even if some info isn't correct... I do enormous amounts of research and eventually I can smooth out the wrinkles... I do it well believe it or not. Take everything as a grain of salt until it forms a giant undefeatable rock salt golem. The truth is learned it isnt taught.

The Princeton Professor of German Language and Literature IMPOSTER Friedrich Hiebel is an example of the corrupt leadership at the Goetheanum, which locked Herbert Witzenmann out of his office, I could present worse. The Anthroposophical Society was soon after Steiner's death occultly infiltrated and neutralized. I study Steiner's epistemology in original German and compare word-for-word, sentence-for-sentence with every English translation and have ascertained how misleading the English translations are (and the French translations are also misleading). Get real!

Well, that is the theosophical interpretation of the world. I think "every problem" is something complex enough to be able to escape anything you may say in a 80 minutes video.
Matter(Body) and Spirit(imagination/thought) works hand and hand.
The man that created the hammer; needed spirit to conceptualize the idea of creating the hammer.
And spirit uses matter to bring the invisible to the visible.
I don't know how I got here, specially without having heard of neither Helena or Rudolf in my life, but this was an amazingly beautiful speak. Thank you so much for sharing it!

I just discovered HGB. I had been listening to Steiner and I bought HGB BOOKS but listening to this voice is a lot easier. I too have felt all alone for 40 years because I could NOT separate the Spirit from the body and soul! I actually stopped attending my church for lack of engagement with the philosophy and teaching! If there is any way of contacting you, I hoe it can happen soon!

I think I read somewhere in one of these esoteric works that an understanding of electrical engineering and currents will give the reader better understandings of certain esoteric teachings. Still not sure what that means but I’ve read it.

Took the words out of my mouth. The second said absolutely nothing. All he talked about was Blavatsky and acted like he was just trying too hard to convince that she was the real deal. Yes, I endorse that comment. But be aware that there are teachings other than Theosophy/Stener (but entirely compatible) that are quietly manifesting themselves worldwide, particularly the concept of Sanatana Dharma (the Eternal Teaching).

The spirit if it choses to participate in communnion learms what the bread of the saints tastes like.
Otherwise those receptors are blind to the metaphysical propertaes that work together to sustain life om the cosmos, gaia, earth dirt,albion and so on.
Spirits are precice and that is why translation and culture and all changes so that the true name of the spirit makes its fingerprint in reality and washed back to the heart of their earth like a receeding tide.

Krishnamurti is one of my favorite teachers, since the 70's. Listened to him in Saanen Switzerland, where he swept the floor with the devotees in white garments, kneeling in front of him. He was ruthless, a burning torch.
There's a series of You Tube video-sessions "The nature of the mind" with Krishnamurti, David Bohm, Rupert Sheldrake, and a psychotherapist.
Highly recommended!

@Devon Seamoor - Krishnamurti never acted in the way you describe him in Saanen. What's wrong with you? Krishnamurti was an open, very friendly person anybody could ask a question and he took everybody seriously. But David Bohm was a dishonest plagiat and omitted credit to Krishnamurti in the first edition of his book on wholeness and implicit order. Ruprecht Sheldrake needed LSD and does his best to avoid Rudolf Steiner.

@@scottkraft1062 but since the connections are not always clear (unless you are Nature itself) it makes no practical difference to say "it happened by chance" or "there is a strong connection there" when we can't actually explain scientifically the connection: it's story-telling (which is not a bad thing, but not always a good thing)

My goodness I'm so happy to have finally awakened and come to this point in my journey. I've heard of madame Blavatsky and Rudolf Steiner and had a very wrong impression. I feel I have entered the river.
We all did amd most still do... The few who run society dont want people waking up to their slavery. Society has to make it's own choice to go the way they're going. They can be steered but they know forcing them wont work. It's much easier when we all get indoctrinated into a material world, life means nothing, we're all insignificant, no life after death. Healing and cures abound. Doesn’t mean it is easy, only means it is do able. I am one who has done this, and I am not alone.
It is lonely to heal. Especially from terminal illnesses and others scoff at your massive amount of hard work. You will get no credit, minor admiration, lots of skeptical looks, faces and eyes... as well as aggressive questions and zero follow through on any of your recommendations as a certain thumb rule.
Sickness is both a problem and a solution.
Sickness happens but does not need be a permanent state. Seek and ye shall find.
I will add, seek and seek again. Anyways, be a multileveled self healer. Don’t stop with just one modality or level.
Some just do aggressive diet.
Some just forgiveness work.
Some just affirming and believing in pure health.
Some just acupuncture.
Some just qi gong.
Some just high dose massage and Saunas.
Some just somatic’s like Hanna Somatic’s which is excellent btw for a
myriad of healing opportunities and self knowledge with a strong physical but by no means limited to physical.
We only have so much energy at one time. Resting in nature is very helpful. Just go there and rest... read and nap. Walk and sit. Breath and rest... listen and see. All profoundly helpful hour after hour your stress drops.
Doing all these things as you can and imagine in positive futures... you will have the courage to integrate many levels of healing wisdom and thereby see healing as the rain and not the river.
Why the hell you blame God for someones illness?! There is something called law of CAUSE AND EFFECT. All illness do have a cause and everyone is responsible for their own health. It boggles my mind how people into occult can blame sickness on God, its just stupid. And a doctor cant be a good person, since they dont know cause of illness while prescribing harmful drugs to unsuspecting patients. Doctor are nothing but poison sellers, one of culprit of disease. If you want to know the cause of sickness research raw vegan diet and natural hygienist movement of XIX century. Then stop blaming god for disease.

It will help me to better match my own experiences with the Divine downloads I received during my profound white light and integration of body, mind and soul spiritual awakening and experiences.
In a nutshell, Subjectivity was removed from the Equation of Truth and left behind the Science of Objectivity wherein only that which is seen as evidence is believed to be fact. Facts do not always make Truth and a lack of evidence does not make something untrue.
Once subjectivity is accepted again as just as valuable, if not more so than academic logic or intellect, we must integrate objectivity with subjectivity to get back to the collective Truth.

Third time I have watched this. After first time, it lead me to read/listen to Rudolph Steiner, which I am still doing. Notice at about 19 minute mark, he speaks of human integration with technology, which is sadly happening obviously now. After reading Steiner, I understand this talk better. Fantastic listen, and I'm searching for more from both.

I just found this after wandering through galactic history races such as the Lyrans as I literally put that on for my cat this morning to show him his ancestors. Lol. That being stated THIS came on next. I've instantly fallen in love with this man. It is so refreshing to see so many truly start to awaken in their remembrances of who and what we actually are. I've run a RUclips channel since an NDE that focuses on showing people how to see THEIR light body that seems to be integrating with their physical form at this time, we could argue that maybe we're just starting to be able to adapt the ability to SEE it. The jury is still out on that, what the jury is not out on is that there is a large subset of the population that IS starting to notice that they are not only changing consciously, but they are actually changing physically.
