“dude” is something you can call your friends or in an exclamation, like “hey dude” to greet a friend or “dude!” when they spill something on you, it’s used instead of “hey (friend’s name)”. it really depends on how close you are and how casual you are with them. and please don’t use it around bosses or in professional situations. if this makes sense then i’m glad i could help :))

Don't worry I was studying English for 14 years and now finally I can speak English not really well but better than before and I'm still learning so don't give up 💜

It amazes me how so many people study English for so long and some people just are born knowing it it's just like wow-

@@人-k5x yeah but I feel like 14 years to learn a language is kinda too much. Like usually to learn the languge for 80%-90% you need like 3 years (avarage) but yeah its fascinating

    1. Dude is casual, but not offensive . Usually reserved for men, but also can be used in certain circumstances with women.
You can use it as a term between friends for example:
    Hey, dude!
    Dude, watch this!
    Dude, let’s play Mech Warrior.
It can be used as an exclamation or a way to get people’s attention (this way can be used for men or women), for example:
    Dude! Did you see that?
    Dude, watch out!
    Dude, what was that?
    Duuuuuuude…
It can be used when you are explaining something and you want to emphasize importance in a gentle and friendly way, for example:
Listen dude, don’t go talk to Mom right now, she is big mad.
It can also be used to talk down to someone or put them in their place, for example:
Listen, my dude, don’t tell me what I should do.
Women also use it this way to let a man know they are talking crap or mansplaining and should shut up, for example:
Listen, my dude, maybe do more listening and less talking.
It can also be used to talk to little boys, for example:
Hey, little dude, you are really getting the hang of riding your bike.
It is not used in formal situations like speaking to bosses or teachers, etc. But it is a very versatile word and can be used anywhere casual.
    2. Your subtitles are very good. Sometimes your sentiment may be worded a little strangely through the translator, but it is still very understandable.
    3. I have tried to learn Korean for 8 years. I have worked hard at it, but I don’t have anyone to speak with and am stuck and haven’t been studying it much lately. So frustrating. No shame in you forgetting English. I am happy to hear you speak Korean, English, or a mix of both. Your videos are very pleasant and I look forward to them. 감사합니다!

'Dude' is kind of an informal and casual version of 'man'
    Example 1:
A: "Who is that over there?"
B: "He is my friend. He is a good dude. He always helps me out."
    Example 2:
    A: *friend is annoying*
    B: "Dude, stop it!"
It is different from 새끼. 'Dude' is not an insult. So if you accidentally use it in the wrong situation, people will not be upset or offended.
    😊😊

Hi, I'm happy to see you back!
Dude is a bit like "bro." Dude is usually used like "friend" or "bro." They're both usually used for boys but can also be used for girls. You can think of "dude" as a fun nickname. "Dude" is usually nice but just like any other word, it can sound rude if you say it in a rude tone. Glad to help!

"Dude" has slightly different meanings in different situations AND dialects. For some English speakers, "dude" is mostly for men/boys. For other English speakers, "dude" is equally for men/women. When I was a child, I called all of my girl and boy friends "dude."
However, it is always casual. Don't use it in formal or professional situations.

Good to see another video dude! lol
Dude is just casual slang for friend. You can use it in any casual friendship. You can use it for either sex, but it’s definitely more common for men. If you have a casual relationship you can use it, so don’t use it for your boss lol

i know what you mean by learning english through the feeling. it’s more fun that way. sometimes i study by learning song lyrics 🎶
language isn’t easy to remember, take your time getting back into it! it’ll be fun to watch you practice again.
AtoZ 새로운 비디오를 보는 것을 좋아합니다! 긍정적인 댓글이 많이 달려서 기쁩니다.
머리가 너무 좋아 보인다! 오늘 분위기 최고야 😆
'느낌으로 배우는 영어'를 이해해요. 그래서 더 재미있어요. 가끔 노래 가사를 배우며 공부해요 🎶

Please don't worry too much about your english learning process. I had English at school but wasn't good at it. After school I watched more English content like RUclips videos and movies and it just "clicked" (somehow, sometime) in my head. (I'm still learning though! 😅) It takes time, so take your time and don't give up! You got this! 😘 You're doing a great job!!
And your subtitles are good! I can understand what you're talking about👍🏻

    오오... 뉘앙스를 정확히 알고 싶으시다니 영어도 금방 잘하실 것 같은걸요!! 🙂 저도 영어 전공자이고 시험도 많이 봤지만 여전히 쉽지 않답니다 ;ㅅ;
dude는 말씀주신 buddy/pal/lad(좀 예스런 말씨)보다는 덜 구식이면서 이 ㅅㄲ...(a**h*le, sh*t)처럼 욕은 아닌 것 같아요 ㅎㅎ 다른 분이 댓글에서 말씀주신 것처럼 "Stop it, dude!"(야 그만해!), "He is my friend - a good dude"(걔는 내 친구야, 좋은 녀석이지) 처럼 주로 남자끼리 서로 잘 아는 사이에서 호칭하는 "녀석, 짜식, 친구, 야(감탄사)" 정도인 것 같습니다-!

I'm not English myself but "Dude" is often used with friends. Female or male. It's a slang but not rude if you use it with friends.
    I give you an example:
person 1 : "Hey dude you wanna hang out today?"
    Person 2 : "He'll yes dude"
But you could use it in a rude way. Then it's used for people you don't know.
    Example:
Person 1 nearly crashed in Person 2 on a bicycle.
Person 2 : Dude! Watch where you are going!
It's the best way I can describe it ^^'
(And if someone who is an English native speaker will see that it is wrong pls tell me in the comments ^^" thank you!)

안녕하세요! 어떻게 지내사요? 저는 마이클이에요. 저는 미국 사람이에요.
That is as far as I got with my studies with Korean (한국이). If I am wrong just let me know. I am sorry I have been not watching your videos lately. I am terrible at studying myself but I will make a promise as well to study harder.
To answer your question, “dude” is used when referring to a close friend. Do not use it on an elder in Korea. I am pretty sure you will be in big trouble.
To answer your second question, the translation worked great and I understood what you wanted to say.
Well hopefully this helps and that I can practice my Korean with you when you make a video.

Ok... Dude? Dude is like the word guy. Like, hi guys. I think it's a west coast american slang. California surfing men. It's a playful fun word. I would not call a superior dude. I call superiors sir or madam. It's not the same as Asshole. Asshole is an insult if used in an angry way. But it can be playful when used between very close friends. Bitch and Nigga are also strong insults when used in an angry way, but also can be playful when used between very close friends. I don't use any of these words.
