Hi Joanna, Thanks so much for the shout out! It's so exciting to meet a local-ish (as you say) cross stitcher, most of my stitchy friends are quilters which is where I started and still dapple in. It's lovey to get to know more about you, my mum is Polish so we too typically celebrated Christmas Eve (which so happens to be my mum (Eve's) birthday), it worked well with my Husband's family Christmas Day celebrations, until Mum and Dad moved to Tassie. Hehehe, you should see my quilt fabric scraps, if I can get a tiny circle out of it, I keep it! I love your Christmas pillows. I agree, we don't really have any established Christmas traditions. Until next time, Happy Stitching xox
I am a bit late watching Jo, but love your new designs. I love stitching Christmas, I love decorating for Christmas. Love your tasteful Australian Christmas ornament and think a series with our native flora and fauna would be lovely , maybe in traditional Christmas colours, reds and greens and golds Enjoyed your flosstube😊😊
Love decorating for Christmas. Decorating outside is hard because of our summer but inside I put all my ornaments, photos, etc away to decorate, so yes I have lots and lots. My style has changed over the years. There are designers like yourself designing more Aussie themes, which is great. Just stitched one with kangaroos instead of reindeer with Father Christmas dressed “Aussie”. But I still love Rudolph and traditional. Your designs will be making there way to my place very soon.🎄
Lovely Flosstube. I agree about stitching Snowmen at Christmas time, I just cannot do it. Don’t mind anything else but snow overload in a Queensland summer is a no go for me. It’s a pity we don’t have our own style without it being too Oz. I like your Merry and Bright little pillows and will add them to my stitching list. Looking forward to seeing what else you have in store for us. Have a good week.
In Minnesota so very much a northern hemisphere Christmas. Family is German and British so always decorate in a very traditional way. Was in Australia for Dec a few years ago - very odd to be so hot and see Santa and tinsel. Love the bird Xmas ornament!
Hi Joanna. enjoyed your floss tube . Here in Australia many have changed "Christmas food" to Seafood Instead of the traditional Roasts. And I agree with the ugly decorations from the past and current supplies. You mentioned that you hand sew over using a machine. The Quilt Show on You Tube is doing a hand made Quilt. They are up to #5 in the series. But it sounds like you have a lot already on your plate . Thank You Marion Anthony

I love the idea of a ornament series . Your day out with your mom sounds lovely. Thank you
