I have a funny theory about the Lush body spray bottles. You can hide them from your partner/spouse and say they are cleaning products. If you have a perfume obsession.
I agree. Sticky dates shower gel is very good not great. Posh Chocolate is much more impressive if you like chocolate. The Honey I Washed the Kids body spray I got has an odd undertone too. The soap smelled better in the store. They have a perfume for Super Milk. It should be released again this year. If you want a very comforting sweet perfume, try American Cream. So good!
I agree, lush is very expensive, always has been. In my 20s a full basket was $200-$300 and that has not changed! I am 42 now and am surprised it is still around. I remember when they put real sand in the Brazilian soap.
I returned my $40 bottle of Super Milk because the vanilla didn't come through in my hair and the sprayer kept getting clogged, but maybe I'll go back in store and buy the small bottle to wear as a perfume. 🤔 I LOOOVVVVE Let The Good Times Roll! They need to make it in everything because it smells better than Sticky Dates imo. Also, Let The Times Roll lasts ALL DAY! I only sprayed 4 sprays around 7am and I was still smelling it on me at 7pm! 😂 Also, it pairs AMAZINGLY with Bianco Latte/Lattafa Éclair. Like ppl were stopping me all day telling me how good I smelled.
Thanks for this review! My fave LUSH scents I've tried are Soft Coeur (chocolatey cocoa butter), Snow fairy (cotton candy), yognog (eggnog/spices), Rose jam, CINDERS (pumpkin/spices), & SLEEPY (lavender/vanilla). Love their products but the bath gels dry and irritate my skin like no other I can't use them anymore so maybe I should give the sprays a try!

Their Ro’s Argan body conditioner, shower gel or soap, and massage bar is my all time fave. But Girl! That Posh Chocolate is so damn GOOD! OMG! I only tried the pot form and I agree it smells exactly like chocolate: The scent reminds me of Philosophy Hot Cocoa on steroids. I want all these now. 😂 I’m still trying to get my hands on the Tumeric Latte perfume but it sells out so fast each winter. 😩 I bet it would smell so good with super milk. 🤔
I got the Sticky Dates Spray and Lotion as well. It is definitely overly sweet. Whew! I took your suggestion and layered the spray with Vanilla 28 which toned it down and made it more wearable. 😂😂. The combo together smells amazing and that dry down is soooooooo yummy. I still think it’s a great stand alone product but just so darn syrupy sweet. I ordered Let The Good Times Roll Last week. Now I can’t wait to try it because of your review. Thank you for your suggestion and all your amazing content. ❤️
I was worried about Let the Good Times Roll as well, but I’m extremely happy that I ordered it (like it way better than Sol de Janeiro 71). I’m wearing it now and mix it with sticky dates. I just love them both! Well worth the money imo since it doesn’t take a lot. I can get away with 1 spray. The hair product I’ve been eyeing it and will try it out. Can’t justify paying that much for body wash. Good review!
I have the lotion. Pre-ordered it online and got it last week. It smells like maple syrup imo. Not horrible, but not worth all the hype. I personally think Dove's Pecan Butter Crunch smells WAY better than Sticky Dates, but since they don't make a lotion in that scent, I guess the Sticky Dates lotion will do. If I could've smelled it in store beforehand, I wouldn't have purchased it tbh. Dirty Soul Soap Co just introduced their version of Sticky Dates and I bought the lotion to see if it smells better than the Lush lotion. I'll use the Lush lotion up, but it's not a love.
@@reann8937 I just applied some on the top of my hand to give you the best description I can. It actually smells exactly like burnt sugar with only the slightest maple scent in the background. Imagine the burnt sugar crust of a creme brulee without any of the lactonic creaminess of the actual creme brulee. Again, it's not a love, but I can mix it with my more lactonic lotions to get an actual creme brulee scent going. The main thing is that it doesn't smell like the Sticky Dates spray or body wash. It's all burnt sugar topping, no milk or butter which you'd find in a true caramel scent.
Super Milk is where it’s at girl! And word has it (and I must check it out) that Lush released a new fragrance called Chelsea Morning, and it is supposed to be the same Super Milk Scent! Also Super Milk is pretty close to Avocado Co. Wash body spray, which I own and really like, it has the same DNA. In addition, Snow Fairy body spray is a really good cotton candy scent only comes out for the holidays. They have a whole line of Snow Fairy comes in different products. Great review as always!
I am not a gourmand lover, but this Sticky Dates is EVERYTHING! I purchased the body wash, scrub, lotion, and spray. I agree, the body wash doesn’t stay with you long enough to warrant the price. IMO, the scrub also serves as a body wash because after all of the beads dissolve, it lathers up. The formula is like Ouai. It provides a good exfoliation and lather. The scent on the lotion is long lasting. I also agree on the initial spray of the body spray. It was too much but that dry down…whew! That’s where I feel in love. I kept telling myself how good I smelled 🤣. The scent was still prominent on me when I woke up so it definitely wears 8+ hours. Now I see there’s a soap 😮. Them prices is the only thing stopping me from placing another order 🤣. I look forward to trying more products from Lush.
I just tried Super Milk on my skin and it’s good! Never thought of that before. I like it in my hair too, the scent stays in the hair for 2-3 days (not very strongly)

I went into Lush this weekend to smell sticky dates and super milk before I ordered online but i was not overly excited about either. I did pick up two snow fairy bath bombs though. For my hair I feel like the SDJ or Amika leave ins are my favorite. Love Lush's American Cream smell though ❤
I have two of the limited edition sticky date sprays, I tried super milk and sticky dates before the hype. Super milk is one of the only leave ins that works wonders in my hair. I have not found anything that compares to it. I hate the price, but I will always re-purchase.

I’m the same way about lush. The closest lush to me is 45 min away (in Nashville) so my husband takes me about every 6-7 months so I can splurge and get a bunch of products (I have a budget though haha) 😂I recently got to go again, and I had to order some things online like the big conditioner bar, ect. I’m the same way though. I buy a lot, then wait a while, then go back and buy a lot haha 🤣 I’m loving smugglers soul, oaty creamy dreamy, ect I’ve went through so many bottles of super milk for my hair lol

*EDITED* I had Sticky Dates shower gel last Christmas before it became viral. I also got the Turmeric Latte perfume (i originally said Cardamom Coffee but I'm now looking at my bottle) and to me, they're similar. I liked the shower gel but it wasn't life changing in any way 😂 But I might be interested in the body spray. Windex 🤣😂😂 I think it would be great for layering. I bet Al Rehab Soft (similar to Pink Sugar w/o the burnt note) would go great with it. It's curious how things become viral just because a public figure uses it. Really appreciate your honest review of it. HIWTK was *VERY* popular about 17 years ago because I had it (the soap) and there were so many dupes made of it by indie companies. I remember having a perfume dupe of it and really loved it. If I smelled it now, I think it would transport me back to 2007 (a great year for me!). I don't think Let the Good Times Roll would be for me. When I smell popcorn, I think of my dog's paws 🤣😂😂 I will forever associate popcorn and Fritos with my dog (who passed away last year). I was in Lush recently and smelled it. It’s a very pink bubblegum candy fragrance. I like it but I’m not sure yet if I like it enough to purchase. It’s nice though and a best seller for a reason 🥰

I am a Lush Stan! Not much i haven't tried and don't love. It started with with Sex Bomb for me...sexy Jasmine aphrodisiac! Super milk is hair perfume and it softens your hair so well! Glory and Revive will also perfume your hair! You are going to make Super milk go viral again and I'll never be able to find it 😢. The body sprays will turn on you so be warned they don't last years before the scent changes. I also love Snow Fairy and people love smelling it on me. I also love Karma... again not much I don't love. Their products are rich and high quality. I would agree that the body wash fragrances the bathroom more than the skin. i was shopping LUSH before it became LUSH! Repeat, Lime Bounty, Rose Jam, Charity Pot, Not Sleepy, Hand Gurugu, Honey I washed the kids. Dove....no maam, leaving residue body wash.
I do think it lives up to the hype..... there's really nothing quite like it, its soooo delicious, thick, gooey, and decadent 🫠🫠 Need to get my nose on Posh Chocolate ❤😊

I like the yog nog too. I also the chocolate one and sticky dates. I mix them in the shower with tree hut body scrub. Yummy

I have the super milk. Been using it in my hair and daughter’s hair. Never thought to spray it on skin. Do you rub it in?
I let it air dry sometimes and rub it in too depending on how much I spray.
I can’t get over the windex packaging. I’ll have to give the brand a try.

How similar do you think Phlur Caramel Skin and the Sticky Dates body spray are?
*EDITED* I had Sticky Dates shower gel last Christmas before it became viral. I also got the Turmeric Latte perfume (i originally said Cardamom Coffee but I'm now looking at my bottle) and to me, they're similar. I liked the shower gel but it wasn't life changing in any way 😂 But I might be interested in the body spray. Windex 🤣😂😂 I think it would be great for layering. I bet Al Rehab Soft (similar to Pink Sugar w/o the burnt note) would go great with it. It's curious how things become viral just because a public figure uses it. Really appreciate your honest review of it. HIWTK was *VERY* popular about 17 years ago because I had it (the soap) and there were so many dupes made of it by indie companies. I remember having a perfume dupe of it and really loved it. If I smelled it now, I think it would transport me back to 2007 (a great year for me!). I don't think Let the Good Times Roll would be for me. When I smell popcorn, I think of my dog's paws 🤣😂😂 I will forever associate popcorn and Fritos with my dog (who passed away last year). I was in Lush recently and smelled it. It’s a very pink bubblegum candy fragrance. I like it but I’m not sure yet if I like it enough to purchase. It’s nice though and a best seller for a reason 🥰

The only thing that I actually enjoy from Lush is super milk lol. I love using it for my hair and body 😂 smells like lemons cookies then turns into oatmeal cookies on me

Super milk is hair perfume and it softens your hair so well! Glory and Revive will also perfume your hair! You are going to make Super milk go viral again and I'll never be able to find it 😢.
The body sprays will turn on you so be warned they don't last years before the scent changes.
I also love Snow Fairy and people love smelling it on me. I also love Karma... again not much I don't love. Their products are rich and high quality. I would agree that the body wash fragrances the bathroom more than the skin. I go ham with the after Christmas boxing day sale. Good time to try new stuff on sale. 33:33

i was shopping LUSH before it became LUSH! Repeat, Lime Bounty, Rose Jam, Charity Pot, Not Sleepy, Hand Gurugu, Honey I washed the kids. Dove....no maam, leaving residue body wash.

I have tried several lush products over the years and they are not the best thing on the market.
I do think it lives up to the hype..... there's really nothing quite like it, its soooo delicious, thick, gooey, and decadent 🫠🫠
