Pile two was probably the best description of this most complex, long term friendship I’ve ever heard. And you’ve convinced me to begin a chord cutting ritual after listening to the extended reading. Pile 2 was so accurate. I purchased the extended reading and it confirmed a lot of what I am feeling. He always says everything's ok and he'll talk to me if something's bothering him but I pick up different vibes. I'm very drained. Pile 2 with extended: I just read a book, Traumatic Narcissism by Daniel Shaw, a clinical social worker and a psychoanalyst. He makes a brilliantly clear, detailed analysis of the parallels between a family with a narcissistic parent and a cult.
The person I’m thinking of is from a narcissistic family and seems to have a lot of people with narcissistic traits in their extended family and friends.

Narcissistic families being a cult is so accurate. I come from one and I’ve been trying to escape since I was 12! The families usually have one or two “sacrificial lambs” that they project all their ill wills onto so they don’t have to look at themselves in the mirror. Scapegoats. It’s a cult, sometimes more like mafia.

Great video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

Pile 1: They lack male energy. Always approaching a little bit and then running away. It has been like this for 8 years now. I feel very tired of this pattern and am stepping back now. If they reach out again, I'm not going to respond
I was super drawn to pile 1… were breaking up amicably, and we’re playing nice till I can move out, but I feel like I’m being bamboozled. I’m pretty sure I’ve been manipulated this whole time. I trust my intuition. I want a gentle exit, as there’s children involved. I can’t shake the feeling like I’ve been played- and I need to just let it go, because I don’t think I’ll get closure here.
