I was fortunate enough to form a habit of stretching regularly very early on in my martial arts journey so I don't come up with excuses of why I'm not stretching later on down the road.
I love your videos I always watch your videos when you upload keep it up amazing videos. One thing I love the way you do martial arts can you try posting combos to do
I stretch in between sets while training for hypertrophy, all my rests are of 2 minutes except for some cases in which I do occlusion (which is basically myoreps with restriction of blood flow), squats and deadlifts; since there is 2 minutes of rest in between each set I have time to do 1 or 2 stretches per set, multiply this by all the sets that you do to realize how much this is, doing this you start to become more flexible without having to spend more time on physical goals. This isn't my idea, I stole it from Anderson Silva.
Him being this serious and the theme song made me feel like he's getting ready for a Fight alongside niko bellic with some Mortal Kombat ahh martial arts powers😂
It does, the only thing that now that holds my kicking ability back is a hamstring injury I picked up when I was 15, if I’m doing breaking using side kicks/back kicks , it’s let’s me know not to push too high :(
it doesn’t take much effort. just practice kicking high and over time you’ll go higher and higher it’s that simple. there are ways to speed the process up but then you are delving into the effort category and I’m American so I don’t like that category.
Hi nat. I recently subscribed to you and I want to learn karate but I ain't very flexible, could you make a small tutorial on how to get more flexible please. Thanks.
If Chris Barnatt can become flexible enough to do all the crazy shit he does at heavyweight, there really isn’t any excuse at all. Im also a heavyweight with decent flexibility but I stick to mid-low kicks whenever i do throw em. I do love my knees though
It took me 1 week to do a roundhouse kick I was surprised, I didn't really train the flexibility a lot but I did it everyday for a short amout of time lime 2-3 minutes per day
Hey man can i ask what would recomend of doing if put in a street fight that u cant escape from Btw i have been seeing ur vids for sometime and i wanted to praise you for your martial arts skills especially ur karate
Uhh what to do if my hips and side of my hips hurt after praticing kicks like high kicks, low kicks etc and doing the warm up or exercise to do those kicks
I have to say Im prety lazy about fleixibility too despite knowing Im shit at it and needing it. I think its cuz its not as satisfying as lifting or calisthenics or anything, Ur just there static and feeling like ur nerves are about to tear out.
Thanks even my instructor said that i have beast strength and speed but i wint flexible i did streching for 15 min for just 1 month and now my kicks literally go flying

The fact that you were able to talk in a normal voice, no strain at all while doing that kick is the best part of this video

Yup! I stretched for a week and went from -6 flexibility to 0! I can touch my toes now too
That’s great, keep it up👌
@@nathearnso I just need to stay in that position for 10 minutes a day?
I was fortunate enough to have been blessed with natural flexibility. I'm really grateful for it.
You are a lucky man
I was fortunate enough to form a habit of stretching regularly very early on in my martial arts journey so I don't come up with excuses of why I'm not stretching later on down the road.
your lucky but i will do it by hard working
I love your videos I always watch your videos when you upload keep it up amazing videos. One thing I love the way you do martial arts can you try posting combos to do
Just 10 min stretching sessions 2-3 times a day is fine and can make you feel better as you won't be as stiff as a stick
Apparently 5-10 minutes/week is all you need to gain flexibility with 30 seconds per set being the optimal time for maximum gains.

Two sets of 30 seconds a day for each stretch I want to improve is my current stretching routine, already got both of my front splits doing that.
Nice work👌
I just noticed that he has similar hair to Johnny from karate kid
That NO hits different
The ammount of people at the dojo like "HOW CAN YOU DO THAT!??!"
Me: *Knee hugging* I just..... stretch

Your control comes from estatic strech, but balistic stretchs are Also important
Thank you for making this short!
Love your videos Nat! Keep up the great content!
Appreciate that!! Will do💪
I’d suggest looking at the “stay flexy” guy if you want to learn good flexibility
Bro even 2 sets of 30 seconds makes an insane differance
It's painful tho I just join taekwondo dojo or club or whatever on my school and it's more painful than sparring😢
I said no at same time cmon that gotta be some good vobe check
Even though I’m in my 20’s, thanks to you, I can finally do the splits and touch my toes just like Bruce Lee does naturally.
Do you always warm up before?
Good advice
What are the most effective stretches we can do tho
it doesn’t take much effort. just practice kicking high and over time you’ll go higher and higher it’s that simple. there are ways to speed the process up but then you are delving into the effort category and I’m American so I don’t like that category.
Definitely👍

I was feeling hopeless to continue my stretching training since not much results appear in my legs moves, but u encouraged me .. thx ⚘️
If you're injured it does. Make sure you have no lumps in your back. You may be more flexible than you know.

Multiple👍
Um hey nat, do you mind teaching me red belt taekwondo combos if you mind?

What are stretches to hold to improve kicking height
I could barely get my kick higher than thigh level a month ago. Now I'm almost at head level.

Does that mean that if i would sit like that for 10mins everyday, I would get more flexible? I knw this sounds dumb, but I'm just asking

Oh to practice splits i just lay down and watch yt while my legs are wide open so my legs can get used to it
I am doing 30 min strech for kicks for about 2 wreks now. Doesn't make much difference
i was streching 30 min a day for 3 weeks and i didnt notice a diffrence
I've been training for 2 weeks now i can do the split smoothly
Only one stretch I thought you had to do a variety
I started doing stretches everyday for the last 6-7 months for just 1-2 min and i can kick to the head hight without warmup
Dang bro that no was personal
I stretch 15 min 5-6 times a day because i coach gymnastics and stretch with the kids i coach
