Hi I'm a mom, I'm Italian and I'm 50 years old. I have been listening to K-pop since 2004, I love stray kids so much with my daughter and we were among the 70.000 people at the concert in Milan screaming like crazy. Music has no age and who cares what others think ❤

I'm 55 and discovered SKZ about 3 months ago, and their music for me is like an injection of dopamine, it just makes me so happy for some reason I can't explain. The amount of talent these boys have is insane!
OMG! I can't believe someone said that someone of your age shouldn't be listening to kpop. You are right, music is made for everyone of all ages to enjoy; it's what brings people together! I am a relatively new STAY, their music helped me (and continues to) get thru cancer treatment. They have such a diverse and extensive discography. Discovering SKZ is an amazing journey, welcome and enjoy!

@@reakt2all, Also a lot of older stay follow SKZ because they produce and write their own music then when you get to learn the members you realize they are all nice respectful young men. They also all have cute sweet and funny sides to them. It's been nice watching them grow and achieve their success.

I saw so many people above 60 in London at the BST festival who came to see Stray kids! Some of the kpop groups do have younger audiences, but Stray kids honestly has the most diverse fanbase I've ever seen

I’m 53 and a total ARMY STAY. Love the energy, talent and banging tunes. What’s not to love, whatever your age. I saw Stray Kids at BST Hyde Park a couple of weeks ago and the crowd was a fabulous mix of ages from young children to elderly people. Anyone telling you you’re too old is toxic and doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Best ignored. Hope you keep enjoying.💜❤

I’m 55 and has listen to Kpop for years. I’m a multistan. The only group I am a card carry member of the fandom is Stray Kids. They’re a bunch of weirdos and as an AuDHD person there’s something special about these guys and their music that I really relate to. Music is meant to be enjoyed and shared. I think the kids are jealous that we have adult money and can afford fan merchandise and concert tickets. 😂

They helped me getting out of a depression, their music, songtexts and their whole personalities. I absolutely love them and hope, i can see them only once live in a concert..🍀🫶🏻

Stray Kids are musical geniuses, they compose and produce their own songs (they received a “best producers” award last year), they have one of the best 4th gen rap lines, they are great singers with unique diverse voices, and are amazing dancers. They release some of the best MVs in the industry (dubbed the “kings of transitions”). They are loved for their honest and endearing personalities. Only Kpop group ever to have two major Hollywood actors in their MV, and they wrote an OST (Slash) for the new Deadpool movie. They are respected and loved in the industry for their many talents, work ethic and great personalities. Amazing stage presence as well. In addition to their MVs I suggest watching some of their live performances, dance practices, and content online. I recommend Megaverse next, but all of their 190 songs (maybe more I lost count) are great. I know you will love Stray Kids.

Hyunjin is the global ambassador for Versace, the one with the red glasses. These 3 are the danceline called DanceRacha.

One thing that is confusing to people new to kpop is when they talk about generations, they never explain what it means. The simplest way for me to understand it is by going by their age, there is a 5 to 6 year difference between each generation.
Examples:
1st generation are in their 40’s.
2nd generation are mid 30s like BIGBANG.
3rd generation are around 30 which is why BTS are currently in the army.
4th generation are in their mid 20s like Stray Kids.
5th generation just started this year.

I'm almost 50 and I discovered K-POP a few years ago. I went down that rabbit hole and still going down today. Koreans in general are extremely talented artist. From groups to solo artist, from their dramas to their films. The Korean wonderful world is endless. I've been tired of everything in part of the world and I was blown away with what I discover. I'm not a Stay but I love love love SKZ. My daughter is a Stay but I'm an Atiny. I have a loooooong list of Korea's Artists, k-drama series (I don't like straight romance though), Manhwa....

Very nice reaction, and I doubt any Stray Kids fans would hate on you for your age. They just love to have more people discover this talented group. Yes, as others have already pointed out the member you noticed was Felix. You're not alone in your "Felix effect reaction", it's quite the contrast between his angelic looks and bass voice. Yes, he is a LV Ambassador and walked the runway.They definitely all have a great fashion sense and were all invited as a group to the Met Gala. Hyunjin is a brand ambassador for Versace and the others have all been invited to various shows. They also recently did a group photoshoot for W Korea with each member being sponsored by a different designer brand. As for the group, they all sing, dance, rap, write and produce almost all their own music. Since you mentioned the choreo this song does have a performance video that showcases the choreo for the whole song. They do that for a lot of their music. They also sound amazing live and you can find performances and concerts. They just did IDays and BST Hyde Park recently and will do Lolla next week. They have a very diverse discography and have something for everyone but their title tracks tend to be very hard hitting and energetic. Some title tracks would include Maniac, Thunderous, God's Menu, La La La La but there are so many more and those would all have mvs. They've also done OSTs and they have a new OST in the Deadpool Wolverine movie called Slash.

I’m 33, and I can say (hopefully) welcome to noonaracha. - in case none of the other commenters mentioned it, stray kids is sort of divided into three teams - 3racha who are the three members in charge of production (Bangchan, Changbin and Han), danceracha - sort of self explanatory (Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix), and vocalracha (Seungmin and I.N.)
They have been almost completely self produced since predebut and their survival show, and all members have at least 15 writing credits, with Bangchan nearing 200 Komca credits atm.

Noonaracha! 😂 This is great! I got into K-pop because of Stray Kids a year ago. I'm 51 and as a StayTiny (and really becoming a multistan now) I find that aside from enjoying their music and lyrics and storytelling... that it really is healing my inner teenager. So I'm forever grateful to the groups I have found and the positive community of stans as well!

Sorry to hear you copped hate for reacting. I'm what's called a Noona Stay of 4 years. I love Stray kids music. Their discography is a rich catalogue of over 50 genres. .There is so much to enjoy. At the moment, the members of SKZ are loving jazz behind the scenes.

I'm sorry you experienced closed-minded individuals in regards to what you should listen to.
When I started my K-pop exploration years ago, I was told I was too old and that this group or that group didn't want me as a fan. The comments were nasty at times but I just laughed as I bought another piece of merchandise.
One day, Bang Chan (leader of Stray Kids) spoke out and told STAYs (fandom) that their music was for everyone. He was already my bias (favorite) but my respect and admiration for him is so large that I've actually come to love him as my own ... uh, future son-in-law? LoL (A woman can dream.)
We like what we like and why should we conform to what others think of us? (Kind of like the message in their song *Maniac*. 😉)
I do hope you get a chance to check out more songs by them and also, I recommend CC (captions/subtitles) so you can read the lyrics. 😊

I'm 30 and love k-pop. my mom enjoys k-pop as well. and a couple of years ago when the BTS movie was in the cinema there were more middle aged women than young girls watching. plus this very cute elderly couple who were dancing to the parts when music was playing. Music doesn't have an age limit

People who link age and music must be very young because it is clearly a lack of maturity and thoughtfulness. Of course, past a certain age we may not try to reproduce the choreographies but musically we have experienced so many musical trends or movements that we can, on the contrary, talk about them with references.

Girl, don't mind those hateful comments. They most likely come from children who haven't grown a single pubic hair yet. I'm 36, so 10 years older than Bang Chan (who they call the "old" man, what am I then? A fossil?) and also fairly recently stumbled across Stray Kids ... was intrigued by their sound and style and kinda adopted them emotionally pretty quickly. Never been into Kpop before, coming from rock/metal, but they are different enough for me to become obsessed and have their music play basically 24/7. I also love their antics and the group dynamic, better than any comedy show. 😂
Good taste is timeless and when I get the chance to see a live show, I'll carry my old ass there to spend an evening amongst a hoard of screeching teens and ... I won't... give a.... f*** 😉

Not best spending minutes on talking about another artist, especially since armies will probably not watch it. Honestly, together with bad quality of sound, i didnt get to reaction itself. But if it is new for you, it will get better. Keep fighting!
