Hello Sir, I am a long-term investor with a portfolio primarily in large-cap stocks. My investments are distributed as follows: 20% in IT (TCS, Infosys, HCL, LTTS, etc.), 20% in FMCG (HUL, Tata Consumer, Nestle), 20% in Finance (ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life), 20% in Consumption (Asian Paints, Pidilite, etc.), and the remaining in miscellaneous stocks (Divis, etc.). I have been holding these stocks for the past two years, with a total investment of around 12 lakhs.
I currently have no exposure to PSU stocks. Over the last year, PSUs and some other stocks have seen significant gains, which has left me feeling a bit of FOMO. My portfolio has only increased by 8%, partially due to the underperformance of some stocks. While I remain confident in my stock selections, what should an investor like me do when other stocks are experiencing 5X gains in a year?
