    Why was the logo and phone number not included with the first layer?

    • @BjrnHenningOpheim
      @BjrnHenningOpheim 10 лет назад +3

      Because it's reflective vinyl (5600) - The second layer.

    If there's a preexisting decal will it show through a plain white Oracal Series 3551GRA with 290G laminate with printed Series 5600 reflective film?

      you will see the decals outline through the vinyl. You may also see some faint print through it also depending on the vinyl

      We don't recommend applying over top of an existing decal. Best practice is to remove the old decal and clean the surface thoroughly.

    Why start at the bottom and work up wouldn't it be smarter to start from the top and let gravity help

      Typically, yes, take advantage of gravity.
      I think the only reason they worked from the bottom up was because the text was concentrated to the bottom and this way they could ensure alignment.

    Is there a trick to avoid air bubbles? I did a job on a van which involved a black panel about 40cm square. Despite three attempts I was plagued with tiny bubbles. Surface was clean and smooth.

    WHY would you put vinyl OVER Vinyl???? You print it onto the original substrate. Seems like way to much extra work, cost and labour
