Just done this couple years ago, me and my buddy we started climbing to Marco polo straight to mt. Manunggal then heading down to balamban, Toledo, naga back to pardo. And wow that was very fun but super exhausted experienced since we’re riding mountain bike from 6am to 6pm. 😁 . Just sharing.
Hi, I did cycling from cebu city thru Transcentral to Balanban, then go south, back to east thru another road to carcar. Its Solo ride. 150km and 2300mUp :)
My parents are from Balamban and everytime I see bikers sa katong steep kaayu nga area kay ma amazed ko. I’ll try it soon! Need to condition my legs haha
Attempted it a couple weeks ago. We went there through uling-toledo-balamban route-- initially we were gonna reverse the route but friend #1 said the route's easier and shorter through balamban. Boy, was he wrong. The initial 16% surprised us so much our legs were weak by the time we climbed it. We just continued the climb but then we were welcomed by heavy rain. We pushed through for shelter, took a rest and then it hit me: how should i continue this? I was still traumatized by an accident on a descent; i luckily came out unscathed (slipped with 35c tires. How?). So unfortunately we decided i take the uv express. I was disappointed in myself and worried for my mates since as i passed through tch small landslides were forming and i couldn't hear from them yet. I went home first and thankfully them after a couple hours and now i can't wait to conquer this climb soon.

Definitely a HELL CLIMB. Done this climb twice. First try I stopped 4x (Gaisano - West 35). 2nd try I got it straight no stopping.
Yup I hope I don't stop next time I go back as well.

It's such a crazy climb, but one week later, I'm still high from the experience.
