Listening in Ohio while I work. Thank you for sharing. God will deal differently with each person according to individual need and God's mission for each person. Some, Like Saul of Tarsus must be terrorized into heaven, others can be drawn in by love. Love is the greatest commandment, all the law and the prophets hang on love, but if people's lives, marriages, families etc. will be kept intact by dogmas and rituals then I do not discourage them from that, those are to believers what toys are to children who eventually outgrow their interest in toy. God bless you.
I an NDE I ended up in hell, and hell was not like this. My skin keeps getting burnt off. I was in argony, so I don't have the time to look around I wanted to get away from. The pain but the last time I was a christen hell had no effect on me.
The historical Jesus never talked about Hell as a never ending place of punishment. This is the consensus of New Testament Scholars - John Crossan, Robert Miller, Robert Price, Marcus Borg, Bart Ehrman. Hades, sheol and gehenna were translated into it. The lake of fire comes from the book of Revelation - a book that many early Christians believed to not be scripture and BS.
@@SirLangsalot Your statement is not accurate. In Matthew 25:41, Jesus describes the final judgment, saying: "Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.’" Additionally, in Mark 9:43, He warns about the reality of hell, saying: "If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed than with two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire." These passages illustrate that hell is a real place of separation from God, prepared for those who reject Him, emphasizing the consequences of sin and the need for repentance. You may be confusing purgatory for hell though. Purgatory is for those who are saved to be purified. So in that sense, it is temporary unlike hell which is for the damned.

Both the rules and the love are the full message. It’s not a matter of one or the other.
