World Richest Black Billionaire Aliko Dangote on The Importance of Agribusiness Investment in Africa

- In this video, we'll present Aliko Dangote interview with Mo Ibrahim on the importance of agribusiness investment in Africa, which is key for the development of Afirca.
There are many reasons why a prospective investor should invest in agriculture. Experts say agriculture is a low-risk investment that keeps pace with inflation and increases in value over the long-term.Agricultural investment is a necessary requirement to develop and organize the agricultural sector in Africa. The African agricultural potential offers opportunities to be seized in terms of intensification of production and structuring of the agricultural value chains. Although it is diversified, agricultural investment (public, private and foreign investments), remains weak. The shift towards a modern and intensive mode of agriculture must necessarily go through the development of a comprehensive agricultural policy that takes into account several components (irrigation, use of inputs and organization of marketing facilities).

Pease, do you know how to reach this great men for some advices?
Aliko Dangote is obviously a brilliant man and has a lot of important information and knowledge to share. I wish Mr. Ibrahim would have let him finish his thoughts without constantly interrupting.
That z right
Beautiful show.Dangote has spoken like a true visionary Africa has 60% of the worlds arable land yet we still suffer from hunger and starvation. The african youth should embraces modern agribusiness and embrace the new technologies to make sure they get maximum profits. Agriculture is the future especially with the population growth rate
Well said!!! Africa's problem can solved within. We don't have any excuses anymore
@@biologic9081 no we don't if only we rise up and put our governments accountable and us as africans do what's needed.
It's amazing how you guys easily fell for it. He's sitting there as a spokesman of the Gates and the Rockefellers, telling you how great GMO farming is. Wait till it destroys Africa like it destroyed India then your eyes will open
THIS IS THE BEST NEWS OF THE CENTURY. FOR AFRICA WHEN YOU HEAR THE RICHEST PERSON IN AFRICA TALKING ABOUT FOOD PRODUCTION AND EMPLOYMENT OF AFRICANS, IT SHOWS THAT THE AFRICAN BLOCK HAS A VERY BRIGHT FUTURE. IF YOU CAN FEED YOUR SELF AS A REGION AND CREATE JOBS FOR THE MASSES YOU HAVE WON THE BATTLE..THANKS MR. DANGOTE YOU ARE DEFINITELY GOD SENT. AFRICA NEEDS MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU.
Post colonial governments in Africa lukewarm attitude to agriculture,is one key reason for the continent's economic woes.
Had post colonial governments developed strong mechanized agriculture,it would eventually cause many farm workers to become jobless, since farm machines would replace human workers. Then large scale imports substituting industrialisation would be sound policy, since it would create new jobs to absorb displaced farm workers. If Africa countries can limit or avoid food importation,it would lead to positive impact on Africa macroeconomy
You fell for it. Wake up to this trap. It's not the promised paradise
@@jon_s THERE IS NO TRAP IN THE BEST IDEA OF FEEDING AND EMPLOYING OUR 1.3 BILLION AFRICANS. IF THIS HAPPENS ON A VERY LARGE SCALE, THE BRAIN DRAIN IN THE CONTINENT WILL STOP AND AFRICA WILL KEEP ITS BEST BRAINS WITH IN THE REGION THUS FUELLING MASS PRODUCTION.
@@jimmykalyowa2410 Don't be fooled by Dangote's puppetry. The agribusiness he's talking about is the same Bill Gates and Rockefeller GMO model that destroyed India's agriculture and sent hundreds of thousands of people to protest in the streets of Delhi. The loans he mentioned from the central bank is actually coming from AfDB. In case you don't know, among the top ten shareholders of AfDB are U.S.A, Germany, Canada, France. Ask yourself what those occidental countries are doing in a so-called Africa Development Bank?
The $24 Billion loans AfDB earmarks is only for farmers who agree to AGRA terms like buying only patented non-reproducible GMO seeds from big western corporations (the agents of Gates and Rockefeller) who also mandate the use of Bayer's Monsanto chemicals to poison the soil and the food you eat. Unity bank is already doing this in Nigeria with farmer loans and farmers are signing these contracts, too uninformed to understand this yet. Aliko Dangote himself manufactures chemical fertilizers and they'll cut him a bit of the deal while a bigger share is western interest but he's selling out the whole Africa to Bill Gates and Rockefeller. Whether he's doing this wittingly or ignorantly is left to his own conscience but we as Africans never appointed anyone to play God on our behalf.
God provided the seeds and crops for free, and we Africans have grown these natural food for thousands of years without problems. But western capitalists are genetically engineering those crops and then putting their patent on them to eliminate all the natural ones and force farmers to only use the bio-engineered ones supplied only by the Gates, the Rockefellers and their big corporations like Cargill, DuPont and Bayer. And those GMO seeds cannot be reused like the natural ones so the farmers have to buy new seeds from the agents for every planting season. Ask yourself what happens if the west decides new unpleasant terms before you get the seeds. The people who planned this agribusiness model are pure evil. Don't fall for the flamboyant speech and don't sacrifice Africa's natural abundance for this artificial paper money trap.
What's more? Akinwumi Adesina was installed and reinstalled as AfDB president just for this reason, to help Gates and Rockefeller push this agenda in Africa. Expect Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala of the WTO to push the same thing. They plus Dangote are nothing but puppets helping the occidentals subject Africans to western capitalists, slavery all over again. Do the math and don't fall for flamboyant talk by Bill Gates' friends
People think this is good, haha. This man is in bed with B Gates GMO seeds that are causing farmers in India and Africa to commit suicide. Lesson: don’t buy seeds from corporate billionaires no matter what they look like!

Agriculture is the noble job of man.
But small scale sustainable agricolture, not the chemical Monsanto model this man is pushing on Africa.
More importantly community farming can help in ensuring families are self sustained and are financially stable at grass root level.

Important and much-needed discussion. But why is Mr. Dangote's chair lower than Mr. Ibrhaim's?
It might be with respect to age as we always bring our elders to the fore interms of honoring them😀😀😅😅😅 and remember they all Muslims from Sudan and Nigeria my guess
Mr Dangote had a lot more information to provide but the interview was a bit rushed and crucial information was missed. All in all this interview provided great insight from Mr Dangote.
Africa has to learn how to process its natural resources. Because the processing gives you way more than just the unprocessed resource.

Don't be too excited until you read the term and conditions.
Also, the story you are hearing is maybe true, but the procedure is terrible.
I participate in an attic loan in Nigerian and Was ask to give the administrators issuing the loan 10% of my 5 million. You do the math. The intention maybe clean but the process is high corrupt
The issue is we shouldn't be taking loans from the West, while they're using fiat money. positivemoney.org/2016/01/qe-for-people-in-germany-moving-beyond-weimar-a-history-of-qe-for-people-part-6/
Even the intention is not clean. According to the loan contract terms, farmers are forced to buy and plant only GMO patented seeds and cannot reuse those seeds so they have to buy again from Bill Gates agents after each planting season. They also have to use a lot of chemicals for the farming, as mandated by the contract. Only a mad person will think this as positive

Great man!
I'm very impressed by this video it is inspiring, and I love to get involved with the agricultre industry in africa, but I live in the caribbean in the Bahamas how can I get in touch to render some help of assistance?
Where in Africa would you like to start?
1st thing. Look to establish your own business there, not work for anyone. 2nd. Do not see it as ''rendering help and assistance''. Africa is not in need of your charity. Go with a business mindset like you would do if you were going to say America, and you will benefit all plus yourself. For agriculture-based businesses, I would suggest Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya. For an easier process in terms of setting up, go with Ghana and Kenya. For sky high profits, ie multi-millionaire range, head to Nigeria.
@@african-history-fountain Nigeria sounds like a good idea... High-risk high reward.

Very good thanks

Good Dangote
What's the interest rate on the bank loans? 10% is tooo much.
Control your minerals, use that profit to finance your agraculture business. Then you are in control. Then all Africa can benefit from their land riches. You must control your most valuable assets. That profit is far more than enough to finance your agraculture, inventors, and education Grant's.
Kantanka is a small manufacturer company in Ghana. They should be supplying many African countries. They can't get funding. Farming is dangerious because of Monsonto's power and control of so many hecters of land around Africa. If their plants pollinate on your land you will lose your land for patent infringement.
Does this billionaire work for Monsonto? Can the farmers make a profit and pay their bank loans?
Or is Africa about to be just "share croppers" struggling to buy more seeds and pay back loans?
You're the only one who commented here who seems to understand what's going on. Every other comment I saw is naively praising the puppet of Gates and Rockefeller GMO agribusiness model that destroyed India and sent farmers protesting on the streets of Delhi
SWRT subsurface membrane technology provides dramatic increases in water use efficiency and crop production in sandy soils. U shaped membranes installed at two depths below tillage depth detain/retain moisture and nutrients in the root zone for biomass and crop growth. Membranes remain in tact for 40 plus years providing a great return on investment.
Let dangote speak
Africans talk nicely on how to plan and prosper but the problem is implementation of the plan won't happen at all.
Kweli kabisa. Action are never
It's better to not act on this Bill Gates plan because it's the wrong one for Africa. It's the same that destroyed India's agriculture and sent farmers protesting on the streets

Aliko Dangote knows what he's talking about. Sixty percent of the world's arable land is in Africa. Former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo, who is now farming, agrees. In addition to hard work, all Africa needs now is an image lift. Don't look at the European designated borders of Africa as our boundaries. The entire Middle East (semanitics) was northeastern Africa in the minds of the ancient world, clear to India. The West has done a major brainwasing of us, collectively. To accelerate our vision, we need to collectively know the truth. All of the great early economies derived from us, while Europeans were still in the Ural Mountain areas of the East. Even Chedar Man of Western Europe has been found to be Black. The Assyrians, Egyptians, Akkadians, etc. were us, but it has been obscured. leslester.blogspot.com/2017/10/#3185128362991124146

Yeah, I've been saying this to people. In Illinois is a good example, they promote buying and selling marijuana as a business. But, they've made it very hard to cut into the market. Black people should get into growing meat and produce and create grocery stores. You might as well do what comes natural to you!
@Margaret Kpeh how much safer do you think you need to be. Having property insurance, health insurance, life insurance, renter's insurance, property taxes, car insurance, car taxes, taxes, taxes, and more taxes, aren't helping you stay safe. Regulations are taxes. If you're car is impounded, your tax returns get taken, if you're delinquent in paying your tickets, your tax returns get taken. If you live in a house ran by the neighborhood watchdogs' HOA, they tax you. All of these taxes aren't making you safe. They are making you broke. I'm sure I'm missing other taxes that's been levied on our people. It's so bad, that there's black people on RUclips teaching you about cleaning up your credit, instead of money management. If you die, credit scores aren't a policy that pays for your burial. People need to wake up, this old system isn't working. Agriculture is a great way to be independent. As for labor laws, that stupid blue laminated piece of paper is plastered across every workplace.
No trading. Hausa only.
That’s when you know a person got money. They don’t even carry it on them. They figured it. But he needs to bury at least 3 million some where just in case something hits the fan.
He would have vaults filled with gold bars and diamonds, not paper cash, which can lose its value in a day.
farming is good anyway but invest in technology.
Agriculture is literary important u can't feed people technology u need food
'World Richest Black Billionaire Aliko Dangote on The Importance of Agribusiness Investment in Africa'
From the fact that agribusiness investment is important, it doesn't follow the conclusion that 'frankly mining doesn't create job' as Mr Mo Ibrahim said. Because if Agribusiness is about investment that create jobs, mining by generating incomes, those incomes via their investment can certainly create jobs.
