I love that you took a chance with the casting stone! There's a children's programme here in the states that encourages their viewers "take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!" because that's how you learn and grow. You did that and hit this one out of the park! I love how you brought the original music back too! Great callout to the OG days. Thanks for great content, mate!
The disembodied fingertips are a bit creepy, but I love the way the cookie went soft around them, it’s so perfectly relatable. Who hasn’t left their Oreo dunked just those few seconds too long?
I never realized how much I missed the reveal music, thanks for bringing it back! I actually think the color looks great and I like how the cookie is soft and gripped by the fingers, makes for a bit more realism, I'm sure we've all had them go too soft in the milk!
I think it looks amazing, the cookie looks as though it’s just got that right texture of slightly squishy, milk saturated, scrummy cookie and adding the class was a stroke of genius
I am a huge Oreo fan! I love anything Oreo and even had a subscription to the Oreo box when it came out. They are always in my house, usually 2-4 flavors at a time, and I even have my own special dipping utensil. And the more creme, the better! I would absolutely LOVE this and would proudly display it in my home!!!
@@BensWorx yea i was thinking the UV resin maybe could have done it. But you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. IT probably would have a haze around the cookie.
It looks amazing!! Oreos are so good and great to see one be saved forever in resin. Also it's nice to have the unveil music back...gives each project that special final moment.
I love that the minimal bubbles that occurred around the Oreo have just added to the effect as if the milk has splashed up when dunking giving it a sense of motion 😎 top work as always!
I didn't even think about the glass for the milk until you poured that last resin. That was so awesome the way it turned out. The way the cookie Oreo logo is still nice and visible under the fingers is epic!! Great job, as always!
It looks so realistic! Just like when you hold the cookie in the milk slightly too long and it's at the stage that it is intact, but the moment you pull it out of the milk, it will crumble too the bottom of the glass. I absolutely love this piece!
I love how it seems like we are right there with Ben .. making all the choices and mistakes. Edit.... plus we now got Ben's finger prints. Crime spree!
I love that you don’t limit yourself! I always totally dig the music!!! You are an inspiration and you are real! Can’t wait to maybe someday travel to meet you and maybe even show you my limitless epoxy work😊👍🐾🐎
I loved the way it turned out, it really looks like a glass too! And I'm moving into my own apartment and would love to display this! I love watching all your videos, can't wait to see the next one.
I have been watching your videos for some time now and I am still amazed how much work and time goes into turning the simle idea of a cookie and milk into a finished piece of artwork. Nice job
I was amazing to see you use that casting stone material. This project looks so amazing. You do such amazing work every time. I love the music that you use when you do the reveal of the finish project.
Pro tip… insert a tooth pick into the oreo like a popsicle. Hold the tooth pick and dunk the oreo almost all the way, but not submerged, for a few seconds then completely submerge the cookie. Few more seconds and it’s completely soaked and your fingers don’t get wet. Timing is different for the double stuft but results are the same.
You're a little too tough on yourself sometimes mate, the colour is fine, and the finished product looks great. It would make a great present for my daughter's 21st in February. Hint hint ;) (It'd actually take pride of place next to my pc)
I think the mushy biscuit actually works! If you did it again, I'd recommend painting the fingernails in 1st, and possibly the flesh as well to get some tonal variation, so it looks less plasticy. But this was still a cool project!
That turned out so cool! Oreos and milk are one of my favorite snacks! The way the creme is coming out of the cookie a bit at the top makes it realistic. Great job!
Ben, I have only been working with resin a little over a year now. So of course I am no where as good as you, but some of the things you have created are just totally awesome!!!! Thank You for sharing!!
This turned out way better than I expected. Honestly, I expected at least 1 part to fail. I mean, 5 different pours/mold steps is a good amount of variables. Glad that not 1 of them flopped! Great project Ben!
Love the multi stage and plan ahead strategy required for this project. And I’m beginning to think you have everything under the sun in your workshop in various storage bins.
As always, amazing work. I agree about the color of the fingers. Maybe a little paint in the holes first would have made a difference. I’ve seen people thin paints, fill a void like that, then dump it and wipe as well as possible before the color pour to highlight some details.
I think what threw off the look of your digits was the texture and maybe just a shade darker ? other wise awesome, reminded me of the drink " Sheridans " coffee liqueur on the bottom with a white cream liqueur on the top
Thanks for stopping by, If you have time you can check out my new range of Eggs here www.etsy.com/shop/bensworx
Great piece, also, the cookie being mushy gives it more authenticity. It gets mushy when you dunk them anyway!
Nice looking cast
That has made me want some Oreos and milk myself. Yummy
Send it to Oreo

That’s not what your mum said…..so sorry I had to.
@@andyaitken4243 yeah... but did you, though? That barely makes any sense.

I love how you just looked at the casting stone, admitted it was a bad idea, and then full steam ahead 😂
Such a maker's mindset!

The disembodied fingertips are a bit creepy, but I love the way the cookie went soft around them, it’s so perfectly relatable. Who hasn’t left their Oreo dunked just those few seconds too long?
Yeah they are a bit
Put 3 oreos into a blender, add a glass of milk hit the button for 20 seconds pour into a large glass and presto an instant oreo milkshake
Exactly what I kept saying to myself. I was telling Ben, like he could hear me, cut it down level or it's going to be WEIRD! 🤣

This is so cool! Oreo should totally do some cool promotional stuff with resin

Would pre-treating the cookie with some fast setting resin help it be less mushy? Nice project!
Stablizing resin
Thanks Mate, definitely

Very cool. It’s good to see that the moisture in the cookie didn’t cause major issues.
Gotta love the nostalgic music, I've "Ben" a fan for a while.

Loving this. Even though the fingers color isn’t perfect, it kinda speaks to the process of going for it and seeing first results. Very cool idea!
Thanks Mate
Yeah, the finger color isn't perfect, but it's pretty good, so no worries mate.

The mush makes it more realistic. I can never get my oreo back out without it falling apart. Lol
😂
Fork ! or ditch the cup / glass, and drink from a bowl... yeah I know, male brain dominant, sorry ;)
@@snakezdewiggle6084 I actually like it, after the Oreos I get chocolate milk.

Nice! Love the final look of the cookie how it looks a little overdipped. Im amazed how much thought went into this process
Another fantastic idea, some times you just have to try what no one else has ever done. And you get a great result. Well done Ben. I really liked it.

I remember when the original Oreo was the size of the Double Stuff and the Double Stuff was really thick. But still fun to watch your ideas develop.
Thanks Nancy
The classic finishing music is what made these videos to me! Glad it’s back 😊
I was amazing to see you use that casting stone material. This project looks so amazing. You do such amazing work every time. I love the music that you use when you do the reveal of the finish project.
Thankyou
It’s so satisfyingly beautiful, I gave into the craving and watched the end of the video eating Oreo o’s (closest I had)
This idea was goofy as hell and I love it. An LED light underneath it would make for a neat effect.
Thankyou
So many steps to the process that I love it! Such a cool idea.

I actually have a special tool just for Oreo dipping, it's called The Dipr. It's basically a tiny scythe, and it perfectly holds all kinds of Oreos.
Super fun idea! It was cool to see how well the cookie stayed together.
