When you are attaching the clip to the trotline, do you open the clip back up and thread the swivel on the trotline through the now opened clip, threading it up and around the curved part of the now-opened clip. then close it? Have trouble losing these magic clips. Thanks.
Thanks for watching. I don't have any trouble losing them. To answer your question, yes, open the clip, roll in the swivel and close the trotline clip. I haven't had any trouble keeping them on the line. (Minute 5:16 on the video) The main line needs to stay tight or tangles become a problem but getting a sufficient enough weight is the key there.
