My Goodness, Julius" Dr.J "Erving,My favorite player as a young man ..Till this day He is top 5 in my book ...To see him and Deon together just embracing and talking sports is so inspiring..Dr.J was that" Dude" on the Basketball Court ...He was a "problem" for opponents...High flying to the basket for those tenacious dunks,and also giving u off the glass bank shots,finger roll layups,and creativity around the perimeter on the floor...Defensively could guard you and get off his feet quickly to Block a shot...His demeanor off the court was reserved and respectful, but once the horn sounded u were gonna experience his greatness..Seeing two of the greatest who ever did "it", together was awsome...This video u definitely save for the archives ........

Docs that guy that if your younger back then and now he's that smart cool, straight shooting friend , brother or uncle , the guy who got your back and he's cool too. Dr. J was my idol and role model growing up as well. He influenced me on and off the court. I give him the most credit for me NOT doing drugs, smoking and drinking and and not being a bad kid. If Doc wasn't doing it, neither was I.
Witnessing Dr. J and Michael Jordan in action was a true blessing. Their on-court prowess and charisma created an electric atmosphere that left an indelible mark on my memory. As they walked away from the game, I felt privileged to have seen two basketball legends leaving an indomitable legacy on the court.
I am 53 yrs old and the the first player I ever loved and always will is Dr. J. My uncle would tell me about him when he played for the Norfolk Squires and the 76ers. So basically the first time in my life , I knew about basketball it was Dr. J. and the Tarheels. I love basketball because of him. Thank you Dr. J. !!!

I am 53 yrs old and the the first player I ever loved and always will is Dr. J. My uncle would tell me about him when he played for the Norfolk Squires and the 76ers. So basically the first time in my life , I knew about basketball it was Dr. J. and the Tarheels. I love basketball because of him. Thank you Dr. J. !!!
