This is an example of our government giving money to those who already have more than enough versus people who really need help and then bailing them out while allowing working class families to be kicked out on the street due to rent increase.

It wasn't haphazardly written.... it was written exactly as desired. Just as was the plan to bankrupt small landlords. No one in their right mind would halt evictions while at the same time giving money to the tenants (instead of the landlords). It was a careful plan to destroy both small business and small landlords.

Wow I'm a disabled vet small business owner and literally had to shutdown a portion of my business because of covid. My business is currently on life support but these rich sob got free money to floss.
To give it to a person like you they call it welfare. And then they make you think that it’s bad to put in welfare programs to help the people in need. The thing is the people we need aren’t really poor because they will always have help. It’s the people in the middle class that pay all of the money in taxes for most of the country. It’s the people in the middle class that can’t catch a break. So when politicians tell me no to welfare , no the tax hikes, etc. they’re talking about seeing all the things that affect them it will never affect us. All small businesses and midsize businesses deserve help and deserve a break.

I have 2 small woman minority owned businesses, and when I applied, I was denied, and they said I wasn't a real person and my businesses didn't exist. Oh, AFTER, my business was apart of the mandatory closures....sad,but not surprising.
I own a electronics manufacturing technology start-up company. Can't get a dime from the bank. Do you see a class action lawsuit soon. I want to file.
I was also denied- I’m a Native grad student with a small business. Took them exactly zero minutes to deny my application.

What’s crazy is people on both sides of the political spectrum got forgiven for their ppp loans while middle and lower class got screwed. Wake up people it’s us vs the upper class, not necessarily left or right all the time. We can agree and disagree on certain issues all day but when we are all getting screwed it’s a different story. We need to learn to meet in the middle for all sides to benefit.
